But based on a research, men's bodies are strongest at their late teen or early 20s. And Apolo is almost 30 years old in that Olympic, probably the oldest of all. And 30 years old is pretty old for this sport. That's why most Olympic athletes retire early. I think he did well for a man that age = )

Anyone who doesn't see the inspiration and beauty of JR's story is insane. I don't care how 'cute' or 'hot' you want to call him, he IS a hero. He's more than that to me, he's a legend. His story and memory will never fade from my mind and heart.
If JR continues down his skating path, he can become better than Apolo. I'm sorry to all of those Apolo worhsipers, but I think JR's charisma and passion will get him farther than Apolo. I don't find Apolo to be very down to earth, where as JR is.
i think J.R. and Apolo are AMAZING skaters, but I don't think J.R. has reached his potential yet, especially since he spent some time recovering from his 2009 injury right before the 2010 olmpics. Watch out for him in 2014 winter olympics!!!

Like no kidding, Jayner and Malone isn't even that good and they're older than he is. He is a lil Apolo Ohno to me. If I don't get to see Ohno in Sochi, I'll be glad to see Celski taking Ohno's place and winning gold medals. Very very proud of him for moving forward and not giving up. What a growth mindset he has!
You guys should probobly judge JR and Apolo by how they skate not by their looks. They want to be known for being an awesome Skater who is amazingly talented not just a hot guy in skates. I think South Korea has the best Speed Skaters in the world, but Apolo is the United States Wild card. He has the potential to beat them, but its not always the case every time, that's why it's so great when he does win because it means we might see a US skater on the podium. Congrats to J.R. Celski for winning two Bronze medals at the 2010 Winter Olympics, boy deserved it!!!

i would live to be both of them. i love to skate but i skate indoor and i am thirteen and i can beat most of the older kids at my rink but i wish i could go to the olympics and do short track just like JR and Apolp i would love to be as fast as them
I love them both! And JR is so cute and humble and i just love im! See, i think JR is less arrogant than Apolo probably because he hasn't really been in the limelight. Like the constant praise, etcetc. BUT, Apolos comments may come off as arrogance. but Apolo sticks to his goals and is VERY driven, and wants to make sure that he can push his body past his limits. So i think he just wants that confidence that "yes, i can do this and i can be better than everyone else." Anyone else agree?

The Koreans cheated in more than ice skating. They cheat all the time. They cheat on their tests from elementary school up into University. They cheat on their spouses. When you catch them cheating they either lie flip out and go bezerk or blame it on someone else. When they lose they blame someone else. When they win they rub it in everyone's face. When they get pissed, they take their anger to foreign Embassies in Seoul and take it out on the country they feel did them wrong.
No, us students cheat way more, i spent 1 year in us high school and 2 years in korea high school and us students cheat way more. And at least our kids don't do drugs. Korean kids smoke, but no drugs and drinking. Oh yea, and u guys have the highest divorce rate in the world, so don't talk about cheating. And we're not the ones cheating, you guys are, just look at ohno. Tell me when a korean skater cheated. tell me

But based on a research, men's bodies are strongest at their late teen or early 20s. And Apolo is almost 30 years old in that Olympic, probably the oldest of all. And 30 years old is pretty old for this sport. That's why most Olympic athletes retire early. I think he did well for a man that age = )

Anyone who doesn't see the inspiration and beauty of JR's story is insane. I don't care how 'cute' or 'hot' you want to call him, he IS a hero. He's more than that to me, he's a legend. His story and memory will never fade from my mind and heart.
If JR continues down his skating path, he can become better than Apolo. I'm sorry to all of those Apolo worhsipers, but I think JR's charisma and passion will get him farther than Apolo. I don't find Apolo to be very down to earth, where as JR is.

i think J.R. and Apolo are AMAZING skaters, but I don't think J.R. has reached his potential yet, especially since he spent some time recovering from his 2009 injury right before the 2010 olmpics. Watch out for him in 2014 winter olympics!!!

Like no kidding, Jayner and Malone isn't even that good and they're older than he is. He is a lil Apolo Ohno to me. If I don't get to see Ohno in Sochi, I'll be glad to see Celski taking Ohno's place and winning gold medals. Very very proud of him for moving forward and not giving up. What a growth mindset he has!

You guys should probobly judge JR and Apolo by how they skate not by their looks. They want to be known for being an awesome Skater who is amazingly talented not just a hot guy in skates. I think South Korea has the best Speed Skaters in the world, but Apolo is the United States Wild card. He has the potential to beat them, but its not always the case every time, that's why it's so great when he does win because it means we might see a US skater on the podium. Congrats to J.R. Celski for winning two Bronze medals at the 2010 Winter Olympics, boy deserved it!!!

I love them both! And JR is so cute and humble and i just love im! See, i think JR is less arrogant than Apolo probably because he hasn't really been in the limelight. Like the constant praise, etcetc. BUT, Apolos comments may come off as arrogance. but Apolo sticks to his goals and is VERY driven, and wants to make sure that he can push his body past his limits. So i think he just wants that confidence that "yes, i can do this and i can be better than everyone else." Anyone else agree?

Every Japanese person I asked about Takeshima doesn't even know or care about it. I was in Daejon once and some women stopped me on the street asking me "Do you know Dokdo?" I was like "that's that Japanese island in the Sea of Japan, right?" They got pissed. Seriously, the Japanese don't even care about it.

You should look up Japanese protests on YouTube. I saw a film footage of airtraffic control tower collapsing from brand new airport they just built in Japan.

No, you started destroying your city after being encouraged to do so by uneducated ill informed Koreans who just wanted to stir up some anarchy, over a trade dispute between the U.S. and your country. But it's not as bad as that Japanese airport control tower that collapsed, right?

@Jacob now you are starting a rumor. Imported food for US militarily bases are not from the same source as the imported beef legally available to Korean domestic markets. There are low grades of beef Americans are trying to sell . If you can only bother to look into it. You will surely find the justifiable reasons why they were protesting.

Taxi drivers in us do this too. THey charged way more than they were supposed to, this was on dateline. And they only did this to foreigners. And Korean hospitals are way cheaper than us ones, cuz we have universal healthcare. And when did i say americans were jealous of korea? And if you don't like our tvs, cellphones and cars, don't buy them, we have plenty of other foreign people to buy them :)

I have been to NK. I have gone over the DMZ, on a tour bus, with South Koreans, escorted by both the South Korean and North Korean armies.. Don't need to justify myself any further. So when will Korea become more generous? You guys are the least generous of all developed countries. It shows, I mean you've got over 50 million people starving just north of you and you guys spend your time wasting money of stupid shit like ice cream, shopping in Myeongdong, Gangnam night life. Kim Dae Jung and Ro Mu Hyun were progressive. All their work towards diplomatic reunification among Korea was just erased as tension mounted between the two Koreas amid LMB coming into office. LMB was quite fond of Bush and his foreign policy, which was basically the U.S. handing South Korea more free money for defense. LMB's term so far has also heightened tension between the US and NK as well as created tension at times between the US and China. The dude is problematic.

The Koreans cheated in more than ice skating. They cheat all the time. They cheat on their tests from elementary school up into University. They cheat on their spouses. When you catch them cheating they either lie flip out and go bezerk or blame it on someone else. When they lose they blame someone else. When they win they rub it in everyone's face. When they get pissed, they take their anger to foreign Embassies in Seoul and take it out on the country they feel did them wrong.
