  • I think they should've been more cynical, otherwise people won't get the joke. Protecting marriage by banning divorce? Come on...

  • @handplanty

Well what better way to protect marriage by not letting married people get divorced? It's pretty obviously against the Bible to divorce. Why is it that people just start going crazy with an anti-divorce proposal, but are loving an anti-gay law? It's hypocritical I must say. Are we liberals threatening your precious divorce?

  • I love it.

  • Well, at least he's consistent, I've got to give him that.

  • Wow, this guy is retarded.

  • Haha

    PRICELESS

  • It's cute that you think that this could even see the light of day. 52% of the vote for prop 8 is hardly what I would call strong support.

Oh, but it must be nice to dream, right?

  • What's the progress on this proposal?

  • I do hope that it gets on the ballot just so he can see it go down in flames!

  • I REALLY want to see the arguments against it.

  • Dj, I actually think banning divorce does have some strengths to it. It will make people think twice before they get married, divorce rates will drop, less children will have one parent. I think exceptions then should be made for abusive spouses/marriages, so that they can divorce. XD

  • @summersonset I hope this does get on the ballot only to help clarify that Prop 8 is a horrible and un-American law with addition to the realization that church and state should be separated.

  • elchamber, I 100% agree with you, what you say is the most important reason it should be on the ballot, so that people maybe for ONCE can feel how it feels when that is done to a right of them.

  • "I actually think banning divorce does have some strengths to it...divorce rates will drop."

    XD

  • Poor dude. I don't even think many religious crazies will support him since even many of these are Protestants who have traditionally fought for the right to divorce since the 1500's. He is full of contradictions and flaws, but you gotta admire his commitment and composure.

  • "contradictions..."

He has the gay and lesbian community supporting him. Did you get it?

  • This country was not founded on Judeo-Christian values. Instead, it was founded on humanist and deist values from the Enlightenment. Many people confuse the deist with the Judeo-Christian. The deist values may have Judeo-Christian origins, but there was a break and a clear distinction in the 18th century.

  • Colbert is next!

Although an interview on his show may distort space-time.

  • Well worth the risk don't you think.

  • Love it!

  • winnar.

  • Hell yes! Great interview man. Had me LMFAO about the protesting Red Lobster and selling your daughter into slavery.

Next interview you should mention stoning disobediant children to death. Something has to be done about that.

5 Stars man and fav'd on my channel.

  • Hey Caveman, good to see you again.

  • Good to see you are still fighting the good fight. have you pissed of any religious people today? It is International Blasphemy Day.

  • John Marcotte! My Hero!! Saving marriages AND putting divorce attorneys out of business for good!
