@craz3ynick Guild Wars has Many types of PvP. Heroe's Ascent, Random Arenas, Codex Arena, Guild vs, Guild, Jade Quarry, Fort Aspenwood, Alliance Battles, and there are even arenas for low level players mid campaign. GW was designed around PvP.
@craz3ynick you don't really now in what GW pvp is based. It's not as visual as wow's but requires quite more strategy at choosing you builds. You have to choose them carefully because you only can use 8 of them.

well, MoI still can be countered by Protector's Defense nicelly if it is Mo/W, Return for Mo/A...and MoI wont really affect Rts healers with weap spells and bundles for protection...

I never said anything about 1 vs 1 honour(DUMBASS!).Just saying that there are possible defenses against that.You can get spiked as well...and since that build lacks of defensive power u can get killed by any spiker.

Just a point... I don't run crit scythes anymore because they have been nerfed so much and promote bad play. Hell sins and dervs in general promote bad lazy play. If you look at my newest videos you will notice I am playing warrior in almost all of them because because Warriors are much more skill dependent and allow for better results when played correctly.

Dervs and sins you just spam 12345 and win. The difference between a mediocre derv and a good derv is only minimal whereas the difference between a mediocre war and a good war is huge.
Im pretty sure i know enough of the game to defend what im saying.This game has a lot of ways of countering warriors.Besides,dervs and sins can survive in situations that a warrioir could not.Good dervs and bad dervs have a lot of difference since they have more ways to achieve the victory than a warrior.Doing complicated strategies with a warrior will be a headache and a big failure cuz they are too limited to do more advanced tasks.
@darkcheloz Pretty much everything you just said said was wrong. Ur bad at GW... learn to play then maybe you will be less terrible. Warriors have more armour, more utility, the only reason I would even ever consider running a derv is wounding strike. Srsly a good player can accomplish so much more on a war. A bad player will just fail really hard though because warriors have a big learning curve.
@TyrisAscendant uhm, avatar of dwayna or zealous vow and sometimes lyssa is pretty good too, you should know how to use the build ofcours cuz any1 can play with wounding strike.

You cannot force me to ball because im not a retard and I can quarter step. Also this elite although not a threat to you now would cause all of your enchantments to end in 3 seconds maximum (the old version was -90% duration to all stances + enchantments.) Sure Mysticism will give you some energy but what you are suggesting with your only 2 attack skills removing enchantments is gonna make your energy blow up really fast.
so u have 159 armour and 9 health regeneration or whatever... u have a bar full of defence... u cant killl stuff... I kill ur monk then ur midline and leave u for last... u cant do shit because ur damage is gimped by defence skills. GW is a team game not honour 1v1.
With 2 attack skills and IAS i have enough offensive power...and the remaining slots are for defense(INCLUDING AVATAR OF BALTHAZAR).If you wanna kill my monk,first you would have to pass me and with that build,you would die before you could even touch my monk.If you try to hunt my monk,you WILL turn your back on me,thus giving me a higher chance than you to score a critical hit and kill you(catching you wont be problem).I can pwn this... 1 vs 1 or with teams, what u wish.
First:I do will kill decent monks with 2 attack skills because they ALWAYS run if u go melee against em and that way they only get a few seconds more of life.
Second:My attack skills are mean to do large damage with few hits(and they are spammable enough).
Third:Avatars suck in PvP ONLY IN THE HANDS OF A NOOB.Any person with a normal intelligence knows which avatar should use depending of the situation.Avatar of Balthazar for example,is a good choice for RA.
Sure u put it up and are pretty damn strong for 60 seconds and thats all fine. But after that u are without an elite for the rest of the game because only a retard is gonna let u cast it again. Also you should know that a monk cannot cast guardian on 2 guys at the same time..and scythes can hit more than one enemy.
Archers stay back and shoot, but if a melee is up on you, would you rather keep damaging them to help your team or run away knowing your going to die and not even deal damage? Haha look at the poster who had no idea what he was talking about.

well, MoI still can be countered by Protector's Defense nicelly if it is Mo/W, Return for Mo/A...and MoI wont really affect Rts healers with weap spells and bundles for protection...
still this is not bad build except i dont get those D skills at all, they seem crappy

i love warrs took me awhile to learn how to play them though. i do a bunch of 1v1's i basically win or if i no i cant i just make it a stale mate cause i can actually live for a long time without being a defy pain nub. only thing i actually get spanked with is when i battled this monk and he kept spamming this bolt of light that set me on fire. it was gay D:

I never said anything about 1 vs 1 honour(DUMBASS!).Just saying that there are possible defenses against that.You can get spiked as well...and since that build lacks of defensive power u can get killed by any spiker.

Also don't make reference to terrible skills noone uses as a counter ie dulled weapon.

Still terrible(maybe because i know what kind of things will never fail?).I dont say it is a bad build,it is a good one for most of the situations but ppl writes about this build as if it could pwn anything and the true is that it cant.Like any other build it has his own weaknesses and most of his old power lies in scoring critical hits,so dulled weapon its a good option against that.And as i told you there are other ways to defend against this,that doesnt involves enchs or stances

Humpf...looks like you dont know anything about how to play as a dervish.Well irresistible sweep has a cooldown of 4 secs, so its spammable and i have no problems with spamming enchants.Players DO ball into my scythe if i force them to(besides only a few ppl realizes about of that).And im experienced enough to defend what im saying.
I said it before:I would PWN that buid as a dervish in matter of secs.Any good sin can spike that build

Ok so you are telling me that if myself and a friend are attacking you then you can FORCE us to ball into your attacks.... lol. Also reference to honour 1vs1 is irrelevant since GW is a TEAM based game and reference to "it works against terrible players" is just plain bad. In regards to irresistable sweep my reference was to energy of which you will be short on if you are also spamming mystic regen and the like. I'm guessing you are also not using deepwound....

Well your build isnt very hard to use either.If u dont like to play against a dervish,i can use a rt with dulled weapon and there it goes your build (specially now).You would be doing a pathetic damage to anyone.
And there is defense against that(mark of insecurity doesnt affects weapon spells or spirits)

Just a point... I don't run crit scythes anymore because they have been nerfed so much and promote bad play. Hell sins and dervs in general promote bad lazy play. If you look at my newest videos you will notice I am playing warrior in almost all of them because because Warriors are much more skill dependent and allow for better results when played correctly.

Hahaha that comment shows how little you know about the game... Warriors have to juggle limited energy, adrenaline, frenzy and time interrupts and knockdowns. Dervs and sins you just spam 12345 and win. The difference between a mediocre derv and a good derv is only minimal whereas the difference between a mediocre war and a good war is huge.

Im pretty sure i know enough of the game to defend what im saying.This game has a lot of ways of countering warriors.Besides,dervs and sins can survive in situations that a warrioir could not.Good dervs and bad dervs have a lot of difference since they have more ways to achieve the victory than a warrior.Doing complicated strategies with a warrior will be a headache and a big failure cuz they are too limited to do more advanced tasks.

@darkcheloz Pretty much everything you just said said was wrong. Ur bad at GW... learn to play then maybe you will be less terrible. Warriors have more armour, more utility, the only reason I would even ever consider running a derv is wounding strike. Srsly a good player can accomplish so much more on a war. A bad player will just fail really hard though because warriors have a big learning curve.

If both of you are melee charater then yes(unless he thinks better thatn u).I know it is a team based game(no need to remind me),its just that anything with high armor would pwn that build(a warrior using defy pain and endure pain would also rape that).Deep wound?pious assault takes care of that and after and mystcism takes care of that(seem like u forgot that i gain energy EVERY time an enchantament ends on me).Too ad for you that ur elite doesnt means a threat for me.

You cannot force me to ball because im not a retard and I can quarter step. Also this elite although not a threat to you now would cause all of your enchantments to end in 3 seconds maximum (the old version was -90% duration to all stances + enchantments.) Sure Mysticism will give you some energy but what you are suggesting with your only 2 attack skills removing enchantments is gonna make your energy blow up really fast.

so u have 159 armour and 9 health regeneration or whatever... u have a bar full of defence... u cant killl stuff... I kill ur monk then ur midline and leave u for last... u cant do shit because ur damage is gimped by defence skills. GW is a team game not honour 1v1.

With 2 attack skills and IAS i have enough offensive power...and the remaining slots are for defense(INCLUDING AVATAR OF BALTHAZAR).If you wanna kill my monk,first you would have to pass me and with that build,you would die before you could even touch my monk.If you try to hunt my monk,you WILL turn your back on me,thus giving me a higher chance than you to score a critical hit and kill you(catching you wont be problem).I can pwn this... 1 vs 1 or with teams, what u wish.

First:I do will kill decent monks with 2 attack skills because they ALWAYS run if u go melee against em and that way they only get a few seconds more of life.
Second:My attack skills are mean to do large damage with few hits(and they are spammable enough).
Third:Avatars suck in PvP ONLY IN THE HANDS OF A NOOB.Any person with a normal intelligence knows which avatar should use depending of the situation.Avatar of Balthazar for example,is a good choice for RA.
And a perfect choice to deal with u

Sure u put it up and are pretty damn strong for 60 seconds and thats all fine. But after that u are without an elite for the rest of the game because only a retard is gonna let u cast it again. RA is the lowest form of PvP. Just because it "works" in RA does not make it good. Also... let me ask you this... Monk casts guardian... what do u do now??

The speed buff and the high damage plus self-healing and a high armor are enough to pwn ppl in 60 secs.And it works pretty well against a team of eles in Heros Ascent(its good,but not perfect).
If a monk casts guardian?I just spamm irresistible sweep and there it goes the stupid monk.
Also you should know that a monk cannot cast guardian on 2 guys at the same time..and scythes can hit more than one enemy.
