  • A very good review, especially with regards to the music, I think you were spot on, did you by any chance happen to see source code? I have not seen it and believe it is the same director?

  • I'm so glad I went into this movie knowing nothing about it. That's is the only way I recommend seeing it.

  • I love this movie, brillliant!! i agree with EVERything you say!!

  • @CivilianSnowman, great review. 5 star.

I saw this movie on DVD yesterday, no knowing anything more that it appeared to be a one man descent into breakdown.

Like you I really felt for the Sam Bell character, and it was heart breaking to see what his sacrefices and loyal service was ultimately worth.

  • amazing movie. id never even heard of it and i watched it on blu ray. it was amazing but really sad

  • The composer, Clint Mansell, also scored Requiem For A Dream and The Wrestler. He is an amazingly consistent composer of film scores.

  • The composer is Clint Mansell.

  • Cool review. Moon is a true modern day sci-fi classic, a shame the film didn't get a wider movie distribution.

Oh, I have to agree, the model work was outstanding, it often reminded me of the 1970s TV show Space: 1999.

  • I loved this film, but what do you think of it's intentional retro quality? For instance, like you said, the models. A lot of this reminded me of Alien, which was really good for me! :)

I also loved the music and Sam Rockwell! :)

  • How do i tweet people and how do i follow you on twitter?

  • Sounds just amazing! Models are the way to go for sure!

  • I agree when he begins to decay, it was so emotional, that even got me, great review =]

  • This film really interests me. Really cool of him to answer your question!

  • Great review!! This movie sounds interesting!!

  • I totally agree with you on the models. I am yet to see a CGI movie that looked better than the model-shot classics from the 60's-80's.

Great review, looking forward to seeing this when it comes out in Australia in a month or so.

  • Great review on a great movie. Looking forward to part 2.
