I think it's about Disney and how they treat their artists. They (the artists) clearly don't get much creative control, which you can tell from the way their music changes when they leave Disney. Then they (Disney) drop you like a bag of crack on a high-speed car chase as soon as you're too old to be marketed to tweenieboppers and they find someone else they can mold into something they can sell.

I think Demi would turn out well, actually. She's always seemed very smart and down-to-earth to me and I think she could keep herself grounded. I suspect her music would become a lot darker without Disney's influence, both in sound and in lyrics.
