dude if you are a true fan you need no back ground story. bay made the movie assuming most people would have a basic understanding of the mythology. basically he didnt dumb it down for noobs.

He's right. Bay wanted it to be a movie where you didn't need a backstory, but yet, if you were a fan, you knew what was going on. And yet, if you were new, you could watch it, and not feel completely dumb and lost.

i totally agree with you on many points, jvotransf calm down man take a break, i believe megan fox did a good job in grounding shia's character a bit and enabling bumblebee to show off some of his humour, ok so you messed up on some of the names who cares you will learn soon enough :P, and yeah bonecrusher was the constructicon and barricade the police car, frenzy is originally 1 of soundwave's tapedecks, i agree megatron and starscream didnt do the best acting, great review!!
