Possible motive to do so? Why?
High pressure from political factors. He cracked under pressure, due to threats.
Why this scenario has flaws:
1. He has a fiancee, with a 2 month baby due.
2. He would require the assistance of MACC staff to open the window. (Unless MACC's safety measures are poorly implemented)
3. He was the only person held back, surely leading to contact with other people.(MACC? Most likely, since he's in the building.)
Likelihood? Extremely low.

He knows of certain information that MACC does not wish to disclose. This information may or may not have been revealed earlier, prior to him being detained in the quarters. So, silence of tongue required.
Why this scenario has flaws:

2. Too obvious a murder; why such a high-profile murder?
3. Too risky to MACC reputation, which don't hold a good track record.
Likelyhood? Unlikely.
