It's just your standard small pre-loaded salute. It also comes in cake form: 25-shot Thunder King up to 300-shot Thunder King, at least that I've seen.

We use the 25 pretty regularly, but there are much bigger salutes that are way louder, like the 6" canister I used last weekend. Crazy effing loud, especially since we chained five of them.

Fair comment. You can still buy the 6" thunderflash in the UK, however, we Brits use fireworks on November 5th and the fireworks on sale in general shops will never stock such an item, anywhere.

Authentic 6" thunderflashes are available, usually for sale by case quantities in multiples of 32, but they are available to buy, just not in an average shop in the UK as they are a specialist item but nevertheless, expensive to buy when you have to get a minimum of 32 each time.

The infamous THUNDERFLASH in the UK is a million times louder than that, believe me. You don't light it with fire and it can only be electronically detonated at a distance. It's so powerful it will set off alarms and car alarms due to the noise and shock wave.

Of course if the Thunder King (consumer firework) shell was as big as the Thunder Flash (commercial firework) shell, it will pack as much bang. The Thunder King shell look like it's only .5 - 1 inch, but you're comparing it to a massive 4+ inch Thunder Flash shell. And since you said it sends shock wave (LOL, I find it impossible), the Thunder Flash shell has to be 6 inch or larger to generate "shock waves".

I commented on the title of the video, 'loudest firework ever' which it's not. The authentic thunderflash used for film production or diver recall scenarios is 6" tall. It seriously does send out a shock wave punch, believe me. I set one off when I was a teenager and the Police had several calls and an hour later they were knocking on my door. I got a warning but they couldn't do a thing as it's simply a firework anyone can buy albeit an insanely ridiculously loud one.

I was just stating that you can't compare a small consumer firework to a massive commercial firework. It's like comparing a Toyota Prius to a Lamborghini. And if it generates shock waves that you can feel upon the shell breaking, it's illegal for regular "consumer" (worldwide except China) to use and there's no way can you buy it at your local firework store.
