@SPINNYFUCK I cannot recall having taken the idea of something like the Internet seriously back then. What we have now seems just like the Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy which seemed very futuristic back then :)
By the way assuming you are familiar with the game itself there is a short snippet of music played when you crash consisting of four notes. They are taken from a song, any idea which one? I can give you a clue if you like :)
@simonrobert999 After numerous listens I still don't recognise it. Could be a good competition with you signing the inlay cover for the winner. Hopefully other people get involved. Maybe need a new video up to draw attention to it.
Come on Spin - you are a natural at these games, but that is not a spin-quality display! I thought you'd make it to six (some super speed) bikes. And remember the turbo button :-)
Wow, I had totally forgotten about this game but I remember my friend eulogising it back when I first got my Speccy (I must have been about 8 years old!!)
ahahaha! My friend Simon made this game!

I am the Simon Lane who wrote this game. Thank you for making this video and uploading it :-)

@simonrobert999 You're welcome Simon. I bet when you wrote it you never thought it would appear on the internet 28 years later...or maybe you did!

@simonrobert999 Well, the Prisoner seemed futuristic but now it seems real. Even Star Trek and Coronation Street were ahead of their time.
The crash sequence of notes sounds like that tune in Alien. I don't recognise it from a song. *Puzzled*!

@SPINNYFUCK Here's a clue (anyone else reading is welcome to join in!) it's from an early Bowie song...

Great game. Shame you're rubbish at it :D

Not a full-on attempt. Just a look at it to be honest. It's one of those games that has no ending. So pointless trying to play it even more.

Hello!
For how many players? Up to 5?
Greetings,

1 player, 1 game. It would get a bit crowded round the keyboard with 5 people pressing keys.

Haha... you are right, trying to get 5 people on a 16k Spectrum would be quite a good game in itself. A bit like Twister!! :)

It was bad enough trying to play Match Day as a 2 player game, even when the keys were defined as far apart as possible.

Nice Floyd mix.

Yeah! It helps when the songs are using the same chord sequence, lol!
