Almost thirty years since he's done anything of note. (Oh, he won an Oscar for his portrayal of a blind guy who can drive.) Sorry, forgot about that great throw-you-a-bone performance.

Both he and De Niro really need to either hang it up or stick to romantic comedies wherein they play the fathers.

They are not serious actors.

Then you have the low-budget, limited-release documentary Looking For Richard, based on "Richard III", a labor of love that was never expected to make a lot of money. His best performances of late were in small films you probably never heard of: People I Know, Two Bits, & Chinese Coffee. Unlike DeNiro, it's not always about money with Pacino.
