Can anyone link me the interview from 1996? I couldn't find it anywhere. :$ And this is why it's important:
"Larry King considers Pacino's appearance on his show "Larry King Live" (1985) in November 1996 as one of his personal all-time favorite interviews." (imdb.com)
i can honestly say that Al pacnio best role was scareface and godfather 1 and 2 and Carlito's way he is truely one best actor of all times and i own 5 of his movies on dvd and i am proad we have got a good actor like him in the movie idustry we must show praise this mans work and i hope too see more new movies from him
Hey ya'll...we will never know who these actors truly are...we will never get that close to them...ya know like "Up Close and Personal"...and for all the negative comments...I'm sure someone has a pair of cement boots with your name on them!!!
WHHhhyyyyyyyyyyyuh did they tease his 10 hairs on the top of his head? It looks awkward as fuck lol But oh well, he's Al Pacino so wtf am I talking about..
Imagine you have a son, and he turned to you and says: want to go play with me dad? and you: WANT TO PLAY WHITH ME HUH? SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND! BANG!!! xD
" Say Hello To My Little Friend " . That's what my wife always tells me to say before I give her the best 4 minutes of love making she has ever experienced in her life .
i love him yeah hes little legendary italian american famous actor whos not scared when u wanna play rough or so but i have a one request for him: ''CLEAR YOUR THROAT AL PLEEEEASE'' :D:D:D:D
@ReebaShmeeba yeah, plus the hair only seems normal now that I found out he's gonna play Phil Spector next year for HBO FILMS. also starring Bette Midler and the dad from arrested development. I bet that casting director picked Al after seeing him doing this interview, LOL
aww he's really sweet! it was my 24th birthday yesterday and i got an al pacino tatoo of him from dog day afternoon.its not too big,its perfect! samantha x
@iaintmadatcha That he may be but I don't think Larry King is in any way disrespecting him metaphorically or not. If you watched until the end you saw and heard that they're even good friends.
@TheTvstuff I think @iaintmadatcha was really only joking in order to get his point across. Of course he didn't mean that Larry was disrespecting him... No need to get worked up about it =/
@TonsofFun777 nah, It's OK, don't worry about it :)
it was true, it was a joke, I got it after I read his comment again. I must've been in a shitty mood and read it fast without thinking about it the first time around..
The way he looked 15 years ago was truly awesome... I mean he still looks great, but the 30 second flashback footage we just saw, makes him look so radiant...SO SPECIAL
Larry king's a decent interviewer, but I got to say when he said "do you do movies just for money?" that was a little uncalled for. Most actors enjoy what they do, it's just fun for them to act. that's my opinion, anyways
@abwhite86 you're too demanding. you should kiss Larry's feet and sack of balls for giving you the opportunity to see and heal Al-fucking-Pacino in a sit down interview which otherwise NEVER happens....
lool Al sporting the Reybans niiice...1. Scent of a woman (Great Performance) 2. Carlitos Way 3. Godfather 4. Scarface 5. And justice for all the list goes on such a great Actor
Pacino hasn't done anything good since Scarface in 83.
Almost thirty years since he's done anything of note. (Oh, he won an Oscar for his portrayal of a blind guy who can drive.) Sorry, forgot about that great throw-you-a-bone performance.
Both he and De Niro really need to either hang it up or stick to romantic comedies wherein they play the fathers.
@bosszeroboss Not true; Glengarry Glen Ross, Carlito's Way, The Insider and Donnie Brasco were all great performances in pretty good films. Then you have the low-budget, limited-release documentary Looking For Richard, based on "Richard III", a labor of love that was never expected to make a lot of money. His best performances of late were in small films you probably never heard of: People I Know, Two Bits, & Chinese Coffee. Unlike DeNiro, it's not always about money with Pacino.
U are fucking kidding right? Scarface was SHIT compared to half of his other movies. What a boring ass movie scarface was. The only thing good about Scarface was that Pacino was in it. That is the only fucking reason anybody should watch it twice, maybe even once. You must be a crackhead(literally, you know a drug addict) if you are one of the retards who is crazy about Scarface but hate Pacinos other movies.
Both these guys did Heat in 1995. He is anything but a bad film. I might even say it's better than Scarface( to me). And well if that's your opinion on their acting, cool. They made their contribution to cinema, they don't need to prove themselves...if they stick to romantic comedies it's fine with me as long as i can see them on the screen.
PACINO HASNT DONE ANYTHING GOOD SINCE SCARFACE HAHAHA LOL WAT BOUT SEA OF LOVE,THE GODFATHER 3, HIS OSCAR WINNING ROLE IN SCENT OF A WOMAN, CARLITOS WAY,DONNIE BRASCO THE DEVILS ADVOCATE, FRANKIE AND JOHNNY AND HIS EPIC MOVIE WITH ROBERT DE NIRO THE CRIME CLASSIC HEAT !
Thank you so much for posting the interview.I wanted to see it and decided to record the interview because I had to work and then I forgot to set the VCR.Thanks
Does anyone know what they were talking about in the very end? About his agent stealing from him? Being in jail? Didn't really catch that and I'm not having any luck finding anything on the internet.
