God this part was so frantic. Near the end when multiple striders pop up at once I started to think "oh geez, this must be a scripted event where it wants me to lose." But nope! Just have to stick with it. Great final battle.

are their two kinds of strider

first is the normal that has 3 legs

while the rusher has 2 legs

They all have three legs, as do the hunters. Sometimes the stiders move in different ways (tall and slow. or low and fast), as you can see in the video.

when that strider got blown up at 2:43,i didnt know that the magnerson device(whatever u call it/spell it)could ACTUALLY disintegrate something.device to strider then shoot it=blow up strider with only its legs.

i knew this series last week, and started by HL2 since then i became addicted to it; i'm currently in this part and i think its the hardest thing in the series so far. At the other situations widely considered hard in the series, at least theres something like "good" cover, allies or ammo boxes.

Well you really don't know that. Xen was a planet that had different enemies, not combine headcrabs or the like. And headcrabs are a scientific experiment. Play the first few minutes of HL1 and you'll notice that

your both wrong headcrabs are born from a gonarch (a giant spider with a testicle hanging from its stomach which headcrabs come marching out of) gonarch LIVES on xen as for the combine they came from a different galaxy and basically take over whatevers in the way.

No Combine came from a different universe that was doing the same thing to xen which it did to earth. it was taking over and expanding the empire etc. They were attracted to earth by all the portal storms. Headcrabs I believe are from xen. Striders, Hunters, gunships and dropships are from other worlds

I didn't really clear out in my last post that Ravenholm is just in the limits of City 17 or the outskirts of City 17.

Grigori also mention that he was going to stay in Ravenholm to "tend to his flock", So I doubt that he escape when the Citadel Exploded
