@mikestar50 I believe the higher the rating the more rpm you get per volt. So the 3900 will have more top end power, better suited with a lower gear ratio to get power and torque. The 3300 will give you more run time, more torque, better suited with a higher gear ratio to make use of the extra torque. Hope this helped out.(Technically the 3900 is faster)

@hondatmx your running it too lean mate, tune it properly, you'll need to let a bit more fuel through. Play with the tuning screws.

You need to adjust your idle screw, just below your carb, try turning clockwise about 1/4 - 1/2 turn.

@joshinselkirk The reason he is bouncing is because the frame is bottoming out. The shocks look really loose to me. I have never owned an HPI, but I know that my T-Maxx bouncing means that I need to either use heavier oil, or I need to lift the ride.

i have the firestorm version i believe its the same one as the one featured in this vid if u plan on getting i recommend getting a reinforced front end and better suspension as the pre-fitted front end and suspension broke after 20 uses maybe hitting a curb didnt help but heh there an awsome N2o car get one :D

My firestorm turns like shit, I adjusted the trim on the remote to make is better but still it only turns a bit, i bought new rechargeable batteries for it fully charged the and it still turns crap but when it was new it would turn much better so what can I do, buy a new servo?

Tune your engine in properly so the air hole is very small when throttle is off ???

pull off th air filter

look through the carb and adjust the idle screw (under the air filter) and screw it in untill you can see only a small gap (1-2 mm) in the carb.

put the filter back on

start her up and if she still runs away then put the engine needles to base settings (should be in the manual that came with the car) and re tune her.

if not then take it to a rc car repair shop and ask them to idle it and tune it up and they sould give you a cheap deal on it.

DO NOT MAKE IT LEANER...

The firestorm has a larger engine, thus more torque.

But you can change the gearing also.

Or tighten the slipper.

yh i agree with eye if you make it leaner you will kill the engine and make it run worse if not popping weelies, also make sure u have no unessary weight at the frount and good grippy tires at the back and finally make sure the rear shocks are set much lower the the frount ones.
