Apparently NMH 1 and 2 are being ported to the ps3 and 360 soon. even though i own all three home consoles for this generation, i'm not looking forward to this transition. For me, one of the things that made No more heroes great was the atmosphere, which was caused in large part by the wii.

I believe the title is supposed be related to Travis' growth throughout the game.

Throughout the game Travis works to become a master assassin, by doing so he becomes much more like his own personal heros. No longer needing them for inspiration, Travis Touchdown has "No More Heroes".

The British Board of Film Classifaction (the "BBFC", whom also rate videogames) asked for cuts (similar to the cuts made in the American version) to be made to the game before it could be sold. Rockstar made those cuts, and the game has been in sale in the UK for ages now.

Many websites said it were "banned", but it never truely was. It was just caught in ratings limbo as Rockstar contested the cuts, lost and then had to add the cuts.

The game had to be censored to be sold in Germany, who have strict laws regarding video game violence. Most games sold in Germany have blood reduced and changed to a different colour so it doesn't properly represent blood.

Since No More Heroes' publisher in Europe (Rising Star) didn't expect it to sell well, they only printed a single version of the disc to be sold in Europe, so all European (PAL) countries got the game with the German censorship.

Well since you're not so sure about the tv show Heroes, STAY AWAY. Basic description: Possibly-but-not-quite-emo teens have superpowers. Unfortunately, the retarded ones. NBC's orchestra didn't fail to ham it up, but that's overshadowed by a really fucking F-Grade plot. Ever heard of Animorphs? THEY were retarded teens with superpowers. I beat both of those games, And I think No More Heroes was more fun for the first couple of times you play it, but the levels move too fast.. While Killer 7 seemed to keep my intrest a lot more and in the long run I think is a more memorable game than No More Heroes... No More Heroes was just too short... Killer 7 took me much longer to beat. Killer 7 was more psychological while No More Heroes was had more of an violent indie feel to it.
