Teachers vs. Union

Watched a very interesting 20/20 interview on public schools in America. It made a convincing arguement that Public schools and the overall school system needs some changes. I think the idea of bringing in competition to schools is a good idea. Instead of having a monopoly were it doesn't matter on the schools performance.

@IronPriest82 Competition in nearly every aspect of life is a good thing that benefits the majority of people In the medical field highly skilled competent surgeons have a much greater demand than their incompetent counterparts With unions everything moves at the pace of the lowest common denominator which is a degenerating process any way you look at it The Chinese&Indians are not moving ahead of us in the schools because of genetic wiring, but rather because teachers have to meet a standard
