Warm percip equates to RAIN. Not snow. See the IPCC A3 Report. It states that midatlantic states can expect less and less snow in the winter and much more rain. Yet this winter we had record breaking low temps and record breaking snow.

While in the immediate short term, volcanoes do cause cooling--like the Little Ice Age I already mentioned--ash refracts sunlight from pentetrating the atmposphere (IT DOES SETTLE, unlike you), but in the end volcanic gases WARM the earth.

Greenhouse gases, like CO2 & CFC eventually serve to trap heat.

And volcanic gases far outweigh mans output.

It is true that as the temperature of the Earth warms it puts more moisture in the air. When that moisture comes into contact with cold fronts from the North it becomes snow. The warming of the Earth makes the storms more violent and more frequent b/c you have an abundance of moisture in the air on a regular basis; this cycle happens at an alarming rate.

You need to look at the temperature trend over a long period of time to see if the planet is warming.
