@VvicsieE78 Matthole Rd is brutal!!! On my map, the Cape only looked to be about 10 miles past Ferndale, boy was I wrong. I had an 1/8th of a tank of gas, I barely made it back into Ferndale only to find out gas station was closed on sunday. made it into Eureka OK though. My own fault. What an amazing view though coming over the hill. You are literally looking straight down on the ocean. Insane!

As for gas,on my trip I made sure the tank was at least 2/3 full before driving off main roads in order to prevent a surprise. But luckily you made it before your car became too thirsty to drive :) Where you heading next?
