@aliG2500 I didn't see it that way at all. I saw it as Susan was saying that Girl 6 is a very superficial "actor" and is not tapping into the realness of her emotions. It's not at all about having a "mental breakdown." It's about being able to tap into the deepest well of your emotions so it is a genuine expression of the human experience. Otherwise it seems fake and contrived.
@MiamiPush2theLimit not true; professional actors present what appears to be deep human emotion all the time without actually feeling it. that's what acting is. this is just nonsense. you don't have to do this whole ridiculous "tapping in" process to be a good or even a great actor. you just have to know how to fake those emotions really well. otherwise, you'll end up as one of those annoying actors that can never talk to anyone on the job because they're "in their zone," or some bullcrap...

Good/great actors, or anyone calling themselves an actor knows this and if they don't then they have no business acting. REAL actors should NEVER fake, that is not being truthful and when you are not truthful the audience picks up on it quicker than the actor. The "actors" that you spoke to have no idea what they are talking about and they are the reason why the industry is saturated with wanna-be's. REAL acting is fully believing the circumstance AKA actor's faith.

He doesn't want to be stuck in some weird zone for a whole day where no one can talk to him, cuz it'll get him out of character. You don't have to literally FEEL the acting for it to be good; it just has to APPEAR real. It's just an illusion.

Ok I saw a preview clip of this movie when i was 16 and suddenly just clicked in my mind to see if this movie ever existed here.. LOL So intense. Im glad Im not the only one who wants to see this movie.. . Gotta definitely get this one and watch it.. Just these clips make me want to get it !

I saw Susan Batson coaching italian actors in very intensive workshops, and i can say she is relly the person that can tell you if acting is your real talent .... you just can't be fake with her, and if your are not really commetted to truthful acting you will have an hard time with her. The world shoul be full of coach like her.
