Here we go again,Another Arema Classic tune, churned out with Style n Pattern.Ow! Times were great back then, where Love and Respect went hand in hand,Music is Life, and this will always be in Fashion.Good Luck to All in 2012. Be Nice Eh!
another great tune.lovers rock will live on, mikie ur a true diamond, thanku for these beautiful songs, they bring back alot of roots for all of us,bless, keep playing, big thanku
Im verry interested in reggae music, And Im reading a book right now thats called, Jamaica/Sweden return journey, and its about how reggae did become so popular in Sweden! And I was reading about this guy Desmond Foster and a band called Arema who made a big hit in the UK calld "In Love" ! So now im sitting with this book in my knee and listening to this song! Totally great, such a wounderful voice, big big big tune!
Thnx for uploading! Peace, respect and bless from Sweden!
i did have that carrol campbel tune back in 84 but aint seen it for ages now. will be looking in all my selection cos its a wicked tune. Appy new year!! and i hope u get more time to go thru mi selection. peace
thanks Miki. I spoke to my niece another lovers rock fan. she found it on her mp3 file. so I have it now. If if kno how to sort would get it to you via email then you can upload. Peace
mikige 1, I was born in peckham, left london in the 80's have to confess miss the reggae scene, but you have brought back so many memories respect to you, my daughter thinks you are awesome, you play a diverse array of tunes keep it up
I keep coming across all of these old tunes we all grew up with and the one thing that keeps getting mentioned, is how good it was back then, and all the wallpaper that got ruined lol xxxx
I have been lurking on here far too long, so joined up so that I can comment and I may possibly upload "Blow My Mind" when I get into the loft and pull out the big tunes. Royden Foster was in my class at school, so big up all the William Gladstone (Cricklewood) Massive. Big Tune from a Massive Band.
Its funny because I always used to hear about the Fosters, but I really don't remember them, they probably know me, but we all knew the same people from the area, I know Royden, its a shame he never really got his props as an artist,we were really good friends, I knew he had sisters. I can remember singing a song and he told me that he sang it, I did not believe him, I made him sing it live to me, I never knew he could sing, then when he told me he was a Foster, it kind of made sense.
(Nevada) has to the most down to earth musicians I have had the pleasure to know, Arema my favourite all time band and mos def in my all time Lovers rock top five, need to upload more choons from dem.
Yes my man Mikige1!! I still have the same guitar! Somebody offered me 3.000 for it! Guess what? Not for sale! I wanna mek another hit wid dat same guitar! New Cross 81-83...De good old days!! De vibes! Bring dem back again! Educate de yoot dem Mikige1! Lovely job my man! Peace
Yes folks! Our very 1st nr 1!! The guy playing the Guitar is me!!! Memories flood back! Chalkfarm studios 79! Right after that hit, we toured with Mr Gregory Isaacs!! I thank who ever uploaded inlove! Is it possible to upload "Blow My Mind"? I gave away my last copy way back then!!! Bless. Nevada Cato
you play a dam good guitar mate. my gig down in New Cross (81-83) used to cark!!! this tune had everyone bubbling, i have that slower "you blow my mind" on an album but its gonna take forever to find (i reckon my sister teef the original)
