Current TV's a joke. I'm no conservative, but even I find it to be ridiculous, sophomoric, and not full of much content worthy of even being on TV or watched. What about those stupid little cartoons that are meant to make a 'point'? About the only shows worth watching on Current are That's Gay and Vanguard.

Yes, some COULD argue that media concentration supposedly is "too much", but the fact that multibillion dollar corporations own things like MSNBC AND GE and other subsidiaries does NOT mean a goddamn thing! LARGE corporations the world over have subsidiaries, and they are parent to OTHER companies. It's called capitalism, asswipe. It's called being efficient and able to do all kinds of innovative things at the same time.

Keitho here, though, makes it sound like there's some kind of HUGE conspiracy between GE and the alleged defense contractors it owns (or is owned by), and that fuels their reporting (or lack thereof) on various issues, with no evidence whatsoever to back up this wild charge. Or that EVERY decision a media operation makes, esp. a larger one, is due solely to the OTHER corporate operations in that family of companies, as if NONE of them have any autonomy. Did you serve on the board of directors?

I know that's hard to believe, but it's true. For example, GE's Jeff Immelt is actually quite friendly to Obama, in case you didn't know. Many rich folks and big businessmen tend to lean left, and several corporations are run by folks who are pro-gay and have pro-gay policies. So can it, you hack.

Around 1:08-1:14, it sounds like Keith is solely describing Fox News, but for some ODD reason, he's lumping ALL the media companies in with it, for some reason. Uh, yeah. When's the last time you saw CNN or MSNBC blaming immigrants and unions? Especially CNN. Wolf Blitzer's got a pretty boring show; Cafferty's kind of angry, but he's not that fired up; Anderson Cooper's definitely a liberal; and then there are the lesser-known talk show hosts and news anchors there.
