  • thanx for sharing cheers

  • also I`m a very sesy girl as you will see waiting you to teach me

  • I saw Stevie Ray 3 times here in Edmonton. First 2 times were in the Ball Room of the CI South Hotel. The stage was a foot off the floor and there was barely enough room for the Band. My ole lady sat in front of the stage, on the carpet..I stood. Both times we had the same 'seats'. Later we saw the Moody Blues in the Coliseum in Edmonton. There was this dude playing Voodoo Chile in front of about 15,000 and we missed him. Shit. I thought the Moody's were there by themselves darn. I was pissed.

  • That tricks with hat and guitar...definetly suits to the licks at the solo

  • The reason I play guitar is because of this man. \m/SRV\m/

  • The people that have pressed Dislike have died!

  • Take that hat off right in beat with the music, Stevie, put that hat back on right in time, oh ya, baby! LOL ~ seriously though, this is his best perf. of this tune imo :)

  • El Macombo

  • Stevie's the one and only musician I can listen to no matter my mood, and he never fails to get inside of me in the most electrifying manner. Fantastic...over and over and over again.

  • Steve: I was lovestruck by you just like SRV says in the song, though I never would have made a mess of your life. Sorry, baby, it just happened. I scared you off--so sorry, My loss, and yours more. Someday I hope you'll come back. Carolyn in San Antonio

  • just love to look at him.

We want him back. You did it once you can do it again.

    Love, Earth

  • Very good

    Stevie Ray Vaughan=God of Guitar

  • there are a lot of videos of this concert on YT and to me it looks like the beginning of the universe was probably something like this.......amazing. RIP stevie ray

  • rapas !!!!! o cara era foda brinca com a quitara

  • Wipes the floor with Hendrix. On a par with Rory Gallagher. People can't look past jimi's guitar playing and see that he couldn't write lyrics or sing to save his life.

  • @mattrudd14 definetely stevie and rory >>>>>> R.I.P. to the both

  • @mattrudd14 nobody wipes the floor with Hendrix.

  • @Bagels58 From a purely guitar playing standpoint you're right. But as all round musicians go, there are too many to name who are better.

  • @Bagels58 Agreed.

  • so tired of people comparing him to hendrix...sure jimi started it,,,and stevie finished it,,,hendrix aint even in the same ball park as this man ,,steveie did better not as sloppy as hendrix just an all around better player

  • Ok.. So, who got a gun and 13 bullets?

  • how do i get as good as this !? aw thats right... i dont

  • the people that dislike this? who gives a fuck?? not me! you? good for them! they wouldn't know great guitar if it was smashed over their head by Paul Stanley!

  • esta foi a primeira música que ouvi de steve. eu me lembro que fiquei hipnotizado, nunca tinha visto nada igual...

  • ZZINZEL, you nailed it. If you like Stevie and the Boys, Live At The Elmongo is absolutely a must have. It is like having Sevie and the Boys in your living room ! This is one performance, in time, that just worked. It's probably floating around in space even as we speak. Beautiful, intimate and with an aura, beautifully filmed and recorded. They put you right there on stage, and in the audience. Stevie Live At The El Mocombo is Truly and incredible and amazing perfomance. RIP Stevie-ShadoW

  • @shadownglass Elmongo? lol really?

  • Here's to you Stevie, I miss you every day. I love, 'Love Struck Baby', my favorite and one of the most Rockin' tunes of all time. I was fortunate enough to see Hendrix twice, but I never got to see Stevie and the Boys live. I would trade one Hendrix, if I could have seen Stevie just onece. Rest In Peace Brother, I'm lifting a shot of George Dickell in my favorite Dale Earnhardt shot glass in your Honor and memory. ShadoW

  • if was to have this option..wouldve left his band..

  • This DVD is one of the best of all time. The first 3 songs on the DVD are THE clinic for Blues/Rock; the best 20-25 minutes ever caught on video. Playing, Singing, Performance = the whole package. If you like Rock & Blues the El Mocambo Club DVD is mandatory part of your collection.

ALSO - as relates to this particular song: another mandatory checkout is the Robert Cray performance from the SRV Tribute DVD. EASILY the best thing Mr. Cray has ever done! ! !

  • I miss you sweet pea.

  • love the drum beat here, like a train going over a bridge

  • sorely missed

  • Esse é o cara. SRV.

  • GOD of guitar ..

  • Brilliant..........

  • he must of got it from marty mcfly

  • Don't need a "LIKE" button, but an "I FUCKING LOVE IT" button

  • @hammertime4fun This has to be the best comment I've seen on YouTube! Cheers!

  • RIP Stevie--can't believe you've been gone 20 years!! I'm so glad I got to see and hear you play this song in person!!

  • Just unbelieveable!!!!! The coolest chords ever. No one sounds like that.

  • Justin Bieber is better and he's from Canada!

  • @iH8Liberals1776 I like Canada.

  • @delora33 Same here but i hate Bieber......wait why are we talking about him? Anyway i love Canada and i'm from the U.S.

  • @TheImaginableUndead Hi Cute Face (just looked at your channel, wild.) I don't like to make mean remarks to people I feel are a little imature but don't mind implying I don't agree with them by just ignoring their mean remarks. I do love Canada and I too am from the US.

  • @delora33 Well ain't this the shittiest place to live at?

  • @TheImaginableUndead Not at all, I love it here. Don't like the economy, the wars and I get a little miffed at some of our leaders on occasions but I love the US and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Please be happy.

  • @delora33 No. U.S. are just war addicts and we live in a country of racism. Have you heard of Uncle Tom's Cabin? The way they treat the black people. The way we just go guns blazing all over the place, the way we keep buying things like lazy asses instead of making it ourselves. Yeah that's a hell of a country. We are spoiled brats because we get everything. I rather go to Canada. Reasons? They accept you for who you are, the economy is much diverse, and they aren't war addicts.

  • @TheImaginableUndead Shut the f$^%$^%#$### up dont want to here that shit i listen to the blues to escape people like you , why are you putting comments on here like that anyway ? WOW !

  • Why do you jump in the conversation?

    Why do you care?

Does typing 12 extra characters after F make you express yourself better, even though fuck or fucking doesn't need 12 characters to censor the word?

Does typing "WOW!" at the end of your sentence make you feel better about yourself?

Do you have something else to do?

Why do you lack in spelling?

Did i ever say anything to you to make you snap at me that way?

These questions, can you answer them correctly?

  • @TheImaginableUndead Hi, Mr. Leibrand is right, this is no place for open discussions, sorry I engaged you. Lets just kick back and listen to "The man," he totally relaxes me and I hope he does you too Be healthy, be happy.

  • @delora33 Imagine - John Lennon <-----Listen to the song.

  • @TheImaginableUndead please leave >

  • @TheImaginableUndead move then you freakin jerkoff im trying to listen to some good tunes and your jerking off to close to me

    .

  • @atltom58 Hey dumbass you do know that i comented 5 days ago right? Thanks for bringing me back. Your insult is like an invite. Chug a liter of horse cum and die.

EVERYONE CAN THANK atltom58 FOR BRINGING ME BACK INTO THE VIDEO!

  • @TheImaginableUndead your the reason that abortion is legal. Keep it up and maybe you wont be able to post here anymore. hopefully

  • @atltom58 I like the way you emphasize what you say. The only thing that you will ever prove to me is being a lesser man. So either shut your trap or continue trying to insult me. Either ways i'm getting the win here. You could've been smart enough to stand down and let me look like a dumbass, but no, you jumped into my game. Consider yourself the real loser here. End of discussion.

  • @TheImaginableUndead shut the hell up weirdo

  • @BerkLeeDrm I love you too. =)

  • @TheImaginableUndead From what I've heard and what I've heard the U.S. is going. The Elite want to suck all the money out of people's pockets, bank accounts. They also want the land. George Bush (don't know which one) pushed through a bill that gives the government the right to own all land in the good ole U.S. of A. It's all going downhill. Mexico,America and Canada will have currency called the Amero.

The Elite have stayed in their lofty places because they have knowledge we're not privy to.

  • @Starpass Oh yeah, oh yeah, well.....GIRAFFE! Beat that!

  • @TheImaginableUndead Yep! You're quite a funny guy and lighthearted.

Rhinoceros. I actually have a friend who lived after being hooked in the back of his leg 8 inches deep and 4 inches wide; missed tearing out his spine by millimeters. We had a man up here who traveled the world picking up exotic animals and put them in what was called Al Oeming's game farm. One night the Rhino had one guy backed into a corner. My friend, at 16 took a piece of wood, a log and smacked the Rhino in the head. End.

  • @Starpass I can be funny and lighthearted as you say or i can be what many call an "asshole", if they don't greet me right. I love this song, it was just a pain when people before me talked out of there asses when i was only telling the truth. Sure the US has it's pros here and there but i have only encountered many cons that i can only say what i say.

  • Was @ His last show up at Alpine Valley, WI for this great guy........ RIP Stevie

  • I like how he sounds as good live as recorded

  • He misses a whole line in the beginning, but you still gotta love SRV, he was fucking amazing.

  • SRV is Chuck Norris of music. His style is like a roundhouse kick to the cranium...this is just my opinion but if John Mayer focused more on his guitar playing than the pop style he coooould be up there with SRV....just a thought.

  • I love it at 1:30. He makes it look so freaking easy. He is the king of rock, no matter what the Hall of Fame says.

  • Ouuuuuu Yeahhhhhhh

  • I've never listened to this guy before...but dang he's good!

  • @infinityjet yep....he's the best..no others even come close

  • @johnny2366

what tracks are considered his best?

  • @infinityjet depends on who you ask of course..since musical taste is opinion and only opinion..for me its "riviera paradise"..." couldn't stand the weather"..."crossfire"..."tightrope"....others may have different choices though

  • @johnny2366

ok thanks ill check them out!

  • @infinityjet no problem..

  • @johnny2366, what about, so excited, empty arms, pride and joy?

  • @Fredemig I like all of his stuff...you asked what ones were considered his best..I just gave my opinion...but everyone is different and likes different ones of course

  • @johnny2366, and i just threw my opinion in your face, chill for christ sake ..

  • @Fredemig haha...what are you talking about?...all I said was others might like different songs more...I wasnt trying to be a smart ass or anything by it..

  • @infinityjet "Couldn't Stand the Weather" will always be my number one, Willy the Wimp, Lenny, and Scuttle Buttin' are way up there.

  • BEYOND ALL

  • siento q esta cancion tiene mucho parecido a jonnhy be god

  • This sounds like hillbilly shit! SRV sounds like shit unless he's trying to immitate a black musician.

  • @boxingin hahaha....jesus...the more I see from you the dumber you get....haha...you sure are on alot of srv videos for someone who supposedly doesnt like him so much...you're a joke

  • @boxingin Only hillibilly shit here is you retard!

  • @boxingin and you are way too young to have an opinion on the blues if that is your critique. Goodbye; good luck and stick your rap up your ass.

  • @Starpass Ooooohhhhh.... LOL

  • When I first tried to play the guitar behind my head I thought it would be impossible. After trying it, the only hard part is picking the right notes, you end up muting all the other ones. Which sounds like stevie as long as you blast the tubes. Too bad no one can play like him though.

  • Hendrix was #1 and Stevie himself would tell you all that if he could...

  • @alonnastorm of course he would...he was far too humble to tell the truth...which was that he was twice the musician hendrix was...whether he believed it or not..I certainly do

  • @johnny2366 The truth is he was not... and he knew it , that is why he idolized hendrix and people like bb king and buddy guy

  • @alonnastorm no your opinion is he wasnt...unfortunately though...just because something is your opinion doesnt necessarily mean its a fact..another fact is he liked and respected hendrix...but he " idolized" only one person....his brother jimi...this is where hendrix fans always get it messed up...hendrix was simply one of many many guitarists who influenced srv...but certainly not the only...nor the biggest influence....not even by a long shot

  • HE was, is And will allways be the master. RIP SRV

  • sounds like Johny B good

  • this is Mestre!

  • I'm, a slut for this. Shit im a slut period.

  • @brownindiangirl lmfao

  • He was one of a kind! As is Clapton in their own right

  • his fingers r as long and strong as jimi,s thats why he could play like that cheers

  • @kanrihan77 how do u know........shut up....

  • Stevie es el mejor.

  • this sounds alot like chuck berry

  • @claptonisgod95 a lot of songs sound like Chuck Berry.

  • a very fews better than S.R.V.

  • call me just 3... !

  • Stevie was born to play the blues and he was unique.

  • Looks like we have haters in the house! What else is new with Stevie. And just for the record, he isn't over rated at all. When you're good, you're good!!

  • I'd challenge the haters to come up with something like "Rivera Paradise"

  • Do yoy think that Wannabe is better than the original?

  • reprise de Johnny Be Good ^^ ?!

  • Non, je ne pense pas, le riff d'intro n'est pas le meme, mais le rythme est un rythme rock n'roll popularisé par chuck berry donc c normal que ca rappelle johnny b goode

  • If you want you can discern Johnny B. Goode out of almost every Rock'n'Roll Song.

Thats where it all started ;) !

  • Great Steve Ray Vaughan, this song has played and singed very mostruosely good!

  • Clapton also said SRV played "out of his skin" ! ! !

  • Eric Clapton said SRV was a free-flowing faucet of blues rhythms that just poured out of him effortlessly.

  • "a song off our new album" ?

I bought this album back in 1985

  • Couldnt stand the weather came out in 1984

  • 84 ? which came out in 87? o.O

  • @AlexisGuitar94 what do you mean?

  • @LennyMocambo I mean a lot of songs sound like Johnny B Goode. It's only a fast 1-4-5 riff.

  • @AlexisGuitar94 i agree and alot of players still stick with the 1 4 5 riff as it is the standard blues riff, pritty basic and eazy to jam too

  • All Texas baby!

  • Fuck. I cant play guitar normally as good as Stevie can play behind his back with his eyes closed.

  • lol at the -9

  • hoooooooly shit. fuck you

  • fuck you too :)

  • fuck you too :)

  • incomparable dude.

  • awsome!

  • Just a real, pure, raw, Texas talent. No one will ever be this good - The guitar was an extension of him

  • hell yeah !

  • @78jmaxwell He's better than Elvis. Real rock man. His guitar was an extension of his arms.

  • yeeeeeeeahhhh the great stevie ray vaughan !!!!!!

  • bein a smokin guitar palyer like SRV is like being a great quarter back, you gotta have talent around you so you can shine. his band is tight, without them it would be empty. dont kid yourself.

  • Thats not necesarily true. Consider:

    Eric Clapton

    Eric Johnson

    Carlos Santana

  • @jpdidit None of those guys can hang with Stevie. Original voices they had, but the chops they do not.

  • woah woah, Stevie Ray vaughan is my all time favorite guitarist, but lets not underrate Clapton's blues guitar.

  • I'm more sick of people overrating it.

  • i can see that. but to say he cant hang with him? thats a little overboard dude. noboddy can be THAT much better than clapton.

  • Why not? He's not as good as you think he is. Still great, mind you, but not on this level. There are lots of people better than SRV, too. There is always a higher level.

  • @1MyNameIsAlec : Clapton was never this good. SRV is perhaps the best guitar palyer ever.

  • @1MyNameIsAlec hey how about not, freddie king fuck both there shit up

  • @1MyNameIsAlec

is it already 20 years?feels like a year ago.not only the sky was cryin'that day.

    in memoriam.

  • @1MyNameIsAlec Clapton is no Stevie Ray. Clapton is only the best English bluesman.

  • @tbone5665 Peter Green?

  • @lordieuan777 I like Peter Green better than Clapton.

  • @tbone5665 Good man, Clapton in NOT the best English Bluesman
