  • How do you spell cell phone in Japanese?

  • Keitai denwa....Keitai, けいたい「携帯」 means 'to carry',..Keitai suru, to carry a thing [denwa=phone].

  • look in the sub below.

  • @kikikinko they don't use the word phone i think neither it os written in katakan they use the word "denwa"

  • "Dare no kore o desu ka"

Does that mean "who's is this?"

Like if im holding an object and dont know what its called, but what to know who owns it.

  • Nopes thats not quite correct. In a sentence where you want to portray location it would come first. so the sentence would be Kore wa dare no desu ka? Which translates to (This, whos is it?) Hope that helped. Just comment my page if u need help and ill try to help ya out

  • if only foriegn language teachers were this hot in every school xD

  • Asakura-sensei. Naze zenbu osaka no hito itte "nan sai desu ka"? Homma ni taisetsu desu ka?

    What boring questions!

Maybe they assume I cant answer REAL questions!

  • how to say zero in japanese. ni is 2, san is 3

  • to ask :"it's my book?" we say: watashi no hon desu ka? when u want to make a question u have to add"ka" at the end of the sentence..;-)

  • wait, if i say WATASHI NO HON it means MY BOOK

but if i say WATASHI NO HON DESU i say IT'S MY BOOK???

DESU IS IT IS OR TO BE??

  • i was told its the formal way of speaking japanese when you put desu behind a sentence.

  • yea its a formal form. u can make the sentace w/o it but its more like friendly talk and its not formal
