Hmm, League of Legends...do you know the timeline?

FIRST it was DOTA. (Defense of the Ancients). DOTA is the Mother and Father of LoL (League of Legends).

LoL is just a seperate game (as you can see). DOTA was actually a Custom Game that someone created on RTS called Warcraft 3.

Since LoL came out, something else called HoN (Heroes of Newerth) came out. So the people in DOTA are making their own and calling it DOTA 2 :P
