  • @pacaha I have it on 12" vinyl :)

  • the music sounds way ahead of the environment in which it is being played in.

  • THE GUY IN THE BRACES IS AN ARSECLOWN OF EPIC SHITENESS. ONE OF THE GIRLS SHOULD HAVE TURNED AROUND & SAID "LEAVE ME OUT GINGER CUNT!"

  • v.e.r.y.o.d.d.~ give those girls a diet soda and WATCH THEM DANCE!

  • Some of the female dancers are pretty enough, but they haven't got a clue how to dance to this track, my dancing isn't good either, but weren't these professionals?

  • fucking hell i remember why i hated these places.shirts and ties beer monsters leering after woman they could never pull.fuck that. spira tribe ere i come.

  • 1:57 that is either a young Rab C Nesbitt or a young Alex McLeish trying to paw the dancer

  • This why the people in the know went "Real Raving" to get away from this hairspary tossers with their wet look hair gel.

  • ha ha this is REALLY funny :P

    awesome track though!

  • ha ha this is REALLY funny :P

    awsome track though!

  • This is Flicks in Brechin, Angus, Scotland. The club was huge in the 80s, with buses from Dundee, Aberdeen, Glasgow turning up each week. Unbelievable really, looking back. The place was full of drunks in '88.....Es and whizz never made it to Angus until '91. Fact. Flicks hosted the legendary Rhumba for their Xmas bash in '92. The "Red-I" was the resident dance night at Flicks around that time but it was full of riff-raff (tinks).

  • Good stuff

I like the fat guy behind the girl in blue trying to grope her. He clearly gets warned off camera halfway through. You've no chance mate.

The girl in black 's got some serious cellulite to shake off.

  • not a decent dancer among them - who the fuck let the guy in braces on the stage - string him up by them

  • the blue girl is one bad ass

  • @bolobeardog dancing in her nightie :)

  • One week Strachan turned to Waterman and said "would your mother like this Pete?"...he turned and said " Nah...she's dead". Lmfao

  • back in the day used to go all over manchester to the hitman n her thats when pills were good

  • Comment removed

  • @kragzy73 you didnt do pills to the hitman and her. Pils maybe.

  • Awesome. And then some.

  • Remember being in the Dungeons in Hackney off me head to this in '89

  • the dancers from fame couldnt dance to it haha

  • look at the bloke in the hat and sunglasses, he's off his fuckin nut. he probably thinks he's died

YES THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING SUNSHINE

  • i wonder if the girl in blue can dance like that now lol nice thighs ;-p

  • haha i remember this show, showing my age now lol

  • tis' is so hoooot! :D

  • this was so funny watching this out yer nut at 3am.

  • HUMANOID

    Fuckin epic tuuuune

  • My God. I remember the Hit Man and Her. The title sounded rubbish then and it sounds rubbish today. Part of the late-night wasteland along with The Big E, The Word, and all this shows with Mike Mansfield. The club looks grim too.

  • There's something a bit surreal about this vid! Pete fucking Waterman, the pop producer, introducing one of the hardest Acid tracks ever, and the big-haired birds bopping away to it!

  • @pulrh WRONG

many pwl techno & rave tracks

  • Comment removed

  • I saw this at the time.........shit nightclubs with shit people.......anyway, I loved this tune and it still sounds great. Of course, the clueless lager boys had no king idea what this was about. Hilarious.

  • why are those chicks dancing in lingerie? most be some cultural quirk lost on me poor canadian...

  • Scots are nutters... (Prodigy Wept)

  • I'd do the girl in the blue even tho thats nearly 20 years ago

  • Nice bit of flange though

  • Hit man and her! they had it so wrong! shamefull!!!!!!!

  • Trivia questions! What an awesome idea. Fucking 80s.

  • Another bombing opportunity gone to waste.

  • Look at all them bloody beer monsters in the crowd. bah, what a waste of good music.

  • @xecutey Reminds me of the "we're here to pull rather than dance" group that makes up a significant percentage of your average Saturday night clientele. That is, they would "pull" of they hadn't drunk so much that they either get pissed and fall over or get on the wrong side of the security staff, ending the night spitting out their own teeth, or being taken away in a police van. As you say, it's a waste of good music.

  • @xecutey Lol! so true

  • 1:04 Straw Hat Guy ' It's just noise, '

  • I don't understand this, I'm scared now

  • I bet there all single mums living in some chav sink estate now, each with 4 kids by different men ..probably

  • Thank you charlie brooker for sharing this "gem"

  • One of the best tunes of all time now ruined in my imaginative recall functions of my brain every time I now think of it.

BTW the drugs where good in them days. But obviously they where not on any and had a great big bloody spotlight on them which, even if you where on drugs, would be enough for you do get paranoid as hell!!!

Shame. I had fun times to this tunes, off my f**king tits too!!!!

  • P.S. They doing big fish, little fish, card board box comp-letely wrong :p

  • LOL

yes - one of my fave acid tracks now tainted by sight of pete waterman in a kilt.

  • reminder - never, ever watch people dancing whist sober.

  • can someone old please explain the Garfield t-shirt's hand gesture at 3:07

i'm guessing it means "homosexual" or possibly "fishy"

  • hahaha well spotted ive watched it ten times keeps getting funnier

  • "Hang on there, gang"

  • Is that James Cordon behind those girls?

  • :-)

  • Oh my fucking Gods!!!!

Thankfully those days are still a fuzzy blur, long may it stay that way LOL

  • Sports Bras clearly a 90's invention on the evidence of this video

  • Sooo who used to play spot the E head on Hit man and Her. Sooo much fun while tripping your bollox off at 2 am on a friday!

  • lol thought i was gonna get rick roll'd , yh humanoid rediculously ahead of it's time, easily said everyone sez shit like that, but u can compare to other dance acid tracks of 88 you can see what we mean!!!! Humanoid !!!

  • Awesome video. One of my favorite tunes ever. So much ahead of its time.

  • asheed asheed house

  • Love this tune!

Given the pap that Waterman produced during the 80's, it seems a bit surreal to see him introducing this though. A bit like Cowell introducing a Death Metal act or something.

  • Little did Pete Waterman know that tracks like this would end his lame dominanace on the charts!

  • Wow amazeing quality video! any one know the camera?

  • Ha ha... You must have p**sed yourself when you saw that.

  • Wow, those girls... style.... hmm. haha.

  • True... But remember that this was still the late 80's (88) .. So they were feeling their way from stuff like Level 42, Nick Kershaw etc... IN just two years from this ... The RAVE era had begun (already underground at that point).

By 1991 you have guys like Leyroy from The Prodigy creating dance moves that still look cool today..

It all had to start somewhere...

  • Dancing and Fashion have both come a long way baby....and thank God for that.

If I saw those girls looking like that and dancing like that in a club now I would think they are semi retarded.

  • is this Papa Docs in Cumbernauld?

  • Brian Dougans is the guy... hahaha... love it!
