i know i'm risking ire, but lancelot (in this show) is a man with no plan. a man has got to have a plan. instead of leaving in the 1st season and makin something of himself to possibly one day come back for gwen, he essentially becomes a bum. he doesn't appear to have the confidence/fortitude to go after what he wants (fake it to u make it). he's great at sacrificing himself and his desires, but a woman wants a man who wants her enough to fight for her and stick around. he looks good though! :)

Is anyone else majorly frustrated by their killing of Lancelot? WTH. They were going to be be so great. The Gwen/Arthur relationship is nice in theory. But it feels sooooooooo forced. Gwen/Lance is so beautiful, I CAN'T EVEN.

@BlackandWhiteScarf I haven't seen the 4th season yet I'm patiently waiting till they air it on the SYFY channel. But I was told a long while ago before the 4th season started in the UK that they were going to make it seem as if Lancelot was dead but in reality wasn't. I don't know if that's true since I haven't seen how he dies, nor do I want to know. He really is my favorite male character so if he's really dead, that just ruins the whole show for me.

@sawako71 Well in the actual Arthurian tale, it's always been Arthur and Gwen, because Lancelot comes after they're already married, so I'm assuming they'll make arwen the final pairing but maybe leave some room for lancelot and gwen in the future....?

But what I got from it, was that Arthur gets killed and Guinevere feels like it's her fault b/c her affair with Lancelot caused a division among the knights. So, she becomes a nun and refuses to ever see Lancelot again, and then she doesn't, she dies half an hour before lancelot gets to her (he has a vision about her death and goes to see her). It's not very happy, at all lol

This is who Gwen should really be with! I love these two anfd this vid! The only time when Gwen doesn't annoy the hell out of me is when she's with Lance... and Merlin in S1, but not anymore- she's become really stuck up towards him now in S2!!!!

@mediaescapee No, no, no, not to Lance lol! To Merlin! She's not bubbly and nice around him like she used to be. Now she's almost distant form him, which I don't like. Also, she's really stuck about about her 'love' with Arthur, thinking that he owes her something or that he has to prove himself to her, "You have nothing to prove- least of all to me". Getting a bit big for her boots I think, and I miss the old Gwen :(

My fav Merlin Gwen moment was in S1 Ep 4 ,I think, when he was wearing that silly hat and Gwen was trying not to laugh. I think she wants Arthur to prove himself to himself ,still I can't wait to see how all the storylines progess in S3 I can't figure out Morgana's I know she'll be back and vengeful towards merlin, maybe Gwen will show her friendship with Merlin more then.
