Oregon is an awesome band and especially with Mark on percussion and Paul playing some brass they have really evolved their sound. The sound on this series of utubes is great but the performances are not their best. If this were all there were I would cherish them. I just saw them again in Marin a couple weeks ago and they were awesome! Would love to see more live Oregon.

I understand it might not be their top playing, but it was enough to captivate me... I have heard of Towner before, but curiously enough, I didn't know the band. It took me 5 min to realize I was watching major musicians, not to mention the massive presence, in the audience, of major musicians from the city attending...

this live version seems a little klunky; which means I should have been at the show to get the contextual material which led up to this; always loved this song on the album oregon 20 or more years ago and still would kill to see this band.
