The only problem I see and hear is that when going to the floor toms, the sound get weaker and loses the punch. I hope this is just the tuning and the mixing on this.

Actually, they're not coated Ambassadors, but Suede Ambassadors (with clear Ambassadors on the bottoms). The suedes come standard on the Black Panther Velvetone kits. Even the kick drum batter and resonant heads are Suede PowerStroke 3s.
