  • The narrator reminds me of Future Trunks from DBZ.

  • @Jinsungify He does to me to lolol

  • need help. im too afraid to lift myself off the ground

  • GREAT tutorial

  • great tutorial, I've been doing cartwheels as long as I can remember so I don't think this will be that hard for me. Just got to get to some mats.

  • can you die with that thing?

  • @Angelbikost

How? Does landing on you hips kill you?

  • Hey I tried an aerial a few days ago and I cant seem to land it...I go over fine, but I always fall on the side of my body lying down...help plzzz..I really want to learn it

  • @Split863 stay foreward and swing ur leg over as fast and keep it straight, im strugglin to sir

  • by origin it was from getting to point A to B by an means necessary, but to be honest the movements on top of the conditioning is and can be used for anything involving physical movement. I hate when ppl say well no its this not that, they gave it a name, but before it had a name it was getting to point A to B. Now it's moreso a sport than for comp nerds to get all fussy about it.

  • ok guys im 13 and weigh 160 pounds... mostly fat

i know you'll make fun of me but i can barely pick up 20 lbs weights... what training should i do so i can parkour?

  • @MrPepsi305 im 180 lbs, around 25% fat, yet i just landed my first aerial a couple of weeks ago. id say i have average strenght and im not flexible... dont discourage yourself. to train, just do some bodyweight routine, lots of them here on youtube

  • im 11 year and i wonna learn parkour does it possible?

  • @KiesiukasLT123 why not? id say the younger the better, just be careful and master the basics first

  • @KiesiukasLT123 If you can learn English, than you can learn parkour

  • @wheresbicki But, English is the hardest language to learn?

  • @Th3H0wT0 English is one of the easiest in the whole world. And anyone (literally, even 200-pound-weighing kids) can do parkour, the difference is in people's skill levels.

  • @Od3ri You think it is the easiest because you already know it. Look it up ANYWHERE it IS in fact the hardest to learn, with all the different puctuations and different words but pernounced the same... doe, dough; there, they're, thier. So next time you try to get in a fight with someone, look up the facts.

  • @Th3H0wT0 I already know it? I'm Finnish, for god's sake. I'm only 16 years old and I've never even studied in English ('cept for the past 2 weeks), and I can still say my English is fluent. The hardest? Don't make me laugh. And I didn't say it's THE easiest. I said it's one of the easiest. There's a big difference. AND I wasn't trying to get into a fight with anyone, I was just correcting you. :p

    Peace.

P.S. For harder languages, check out for example my native one, Finnish. :)

  • @Od3ri I'm only 15..? English is the hardest language to learn, just because you picked it up easily doesn't mean other people do as well? Also I don't want to learn a different language otherwise I might learn yours. I already have to take spanish to graduate.

  • @Th3H0wT0 actually the hardest language is determined by the language you use all the time. if u started with german and you learn english, it would be alot easier than if u were german and learned japanese, seeing as german and english are similar in some wise, and vice versa.

  • @Th3H0wT0 Lol english is piss easy, try learning polish, russian or czech, or any other language for that matter..

  • Best tutorial i've found (L)

  • Do you need full stretched legs

I mean I can not stretch my legs Full as I can not reach the floor after stretching

    Plz help and reply !!!!!

  • its kinda hard move... even sideflip on the ground is easier for me

  • Its not that hard once youve gotten the moves all right.

I used to havea a huge problem with it too.

  • k, i'll try to learn it in summer

  • Thanks AmericanParkour ^-^ I have difficulties doing the Aerial but this video teach me the basic step like the 1 handed cartwheel and i keep practising and practising and finally i tried doing Aerial and it works ^-^ 5/5

  • I'm already practicing for almost 2 year but I still can't do it

  • if you are struggling with with instruction then sear for jujimufu's tutorial on aerials, its simpler and what he says matches what he does.

  • Grow a pair

  • @xNinja73x no ofense but u suck ..... :P

  • You guys are fukcing hot

  • Your voice is crazy intense man

  • Very helpful! :D And Parkour would contain flips depending on if the situations demand that you flip to get form one point toa nother so most of the time parkour doesn't involve flips

  • parkour doesnt involve flips.

  • yea it does but jus for flash

  • True but free running is an extension off of parkour which does involve flips.

  • u say that cause u cant do them

  • no i say that because i know the difference between parkour and freerunning

  • well tbh free running is more creative and takes more skill with parkour u r set down to basics movements

  • omg... parkour is when you wanna get away from a chase and be as efficient as possible. in parkour you just run and never run back... youre not gonna flip of curbs when you get chased by people, are you?? In freerunning you can go anywhere you want and anyway you want.

  • do u even do it XD

  • yes faggot

  • m8 u r a ugly dweeb

  • and ur like a 9 year old to come up with a response like that

  • lol kk u fucking nuef nugget

  • just stfu and go fuck ur self

  • dick fart

  • @ALEXw0z3r3

Wrong parkour inst for when you wanna get away from a chase. Its from getting from point A to point B in the fastest time possible.

  • i know, i forgot to mention that, but using parkour in a chase would still be an advantage

  • your right It would be more efficient in a chase but thats not what parkour is just thought i would correct you (;

  • well if you like correcting, tell romdevie that it doesnt involve flips

  • Parkour dosent invlove flips thats freerunning, freerunning is the flashy one with a bunch tricks

  • you can still use it to get away, point A is here, point B is somewere safe lol

  • @misternapkin no, its for everything to do with cutting time, especially CHASING

  • @parkourguy123 What? I have no idea what your talking about?

  • @misternapkin Parkour also involves other ways of movement then just the A/b thing such as strenght/balance training in urban/nature areas like on a fence.

  • @unknownmovement Yes that is true but as a "second nature" or second meaning I just through down the basic meaning of the word. ;D

  • @misternapkin Hah oke i get that but just wanted to make sure nobody gets the wrong idea :P

  • @misternapkin not fastest.. creativetly

  • @misternapkin Umm, what exactly do you think you're doing when you're being chased? You're getting from point A to point B as fast and efficiently as possible - to either lose your attacker outright, or simply be not worth the risk/effort to catch - even if he could.

  • @vipe650r yes but its just not about chasing. look up let me be myself music video. he is not getting chased he is running to save a little girl. on chasing involved

  • This is EXACLY how my uncle(who does all the things that the comments say below this one) taught me how to aerial,(start with handstands, and practice the fix or whatever)

  • thx I can one hand cartwheel areal

  • Is it true that you need to have gymastics and martial arts in your belt in order to do Parkour?

  • no not at all

  • and anyway this is tricking not parkour....

  • Not at all. You dont need anything for parkour. Seriously NOTHING! You can go out with no cloths on and do parkour, unlike almost every sport you need a ball, a board or whatnot, parkour needs nothing.

  • actually parkour need good strength thats about it :D and the abitlity to overcome fears

  • of course not, the only thing you must have is an atletic body that's it, all you have to do is practise a lot

  • exactly as dragoonrover said anyone commited to progressing in the parkour way of life only needs to get in shape and practice when ever you see fit

  • no but it helps mentally and physically parkour is broing. martial arts and gym.....turns it in to free running a mixture :)

  • Absolutely not. I will say gymnastics would help but isn't necessary. Also being reasonably fit helps. I've been doing parkour for 2-3 months now and I don't have a single day of martial arts or gymnastics.

  • not at all but it does make the training a little easier. All it takes is hard work, commitment and a good pair of shoes.

  • learned it in 2 weeks

  • SWEET!

    its really helpfull!

    *subscribes!*

  • wwicked tutorial really helps but i dont get why they say dont attempt this if its a tutorial

  • It's rule number 1 - cover your own ass.

By saying not to try it they have no liability when someone tries it and gets injured (and someone will).

  • oh ok

  • @joealtair3000: they try to dismiss the stupid people who think they can do it in one try

  • @wheresbicki lol

  • @joealtair3000

You can't read properly can you "Do not attempt anything you see in this video without proper training."

Since your stupid ill tell you what it means.. it means don't try it unless you have a safe practice environment with mats and people to spot you.

  • @cryoes wow ass hole

its obvious that your an idiot since you dont recognise sarcasm

get a life and stop searching through youtube for year old comments to start arguements on

  • @cryoes i tried this in my backyard falling many times but after practicing for 2 days i got it

  • i cant do an aerial. whenever i try i just always put my hands down and its really anoying :(

  • that's ok, just keep trying, and pull your hands up everytime. Go to a gym with from mats if you can, keep trying and you'll get it. Just remember, if you jump up, you will NEVER land on your face.

  • ty that was the best tut ever for this i learned it in like 10 min ty so much!

  • oh good vid but not parkour tricking!!!

  • the americans don't distinguise between parkour, tricking and freerunning apparently...

  • Yes, we distinguish between Parkour and Freerunning. Americanparkour is a parkour AND freerunning website. This is a tutorial under Freerunning.

  • from talking to americans, looking at american media, american forums, generaly anything american I don;t see it.

  • Don't generalize APK unless you know.

  • Thanks a lot I didn't know my one hand cartwheels had to be precise to do this. Iv'e been trying this for 3 days now!! I hope I get it someday. Good Video by the way!

  • where ur vid?

  • tight thanks.

  • Awesome. But not parkour though.

  • duh, that's why its in the free running tutorials playlist. quit being a definition wanker.

  • I actually just think of what i should say with each clip and say it haha, but the main reason I talk like that is to try and be calm, so as not to break from the video, but thanks for the comment.

  • great tutorial..im off to practice right now

  • The voice is creepy. It sounds dull, like you're reading everything. Some tone and energy would be nice.

Great tutorial, though. Thanks a lot.
