@Ludwigzildjian1 It is a little awkward to play, but i have gotten used to it over the years... once i get a new kit i will make it more comfortable. If i tryed to put the hats closer i would have to move other stuff around...

You wouldnt have to move anything and you could get your hats a lot closer. If you want one I manage the drum dept. at Sam Ash in Vegas. I could have one shipped to you if you wanted to buy one. @pearlgrooves Thanks for the advice. I looked it up, it has a LOT of negative reviews about the cable breaking or not being able to position it over your leg when using double bass. I dont think this would work for me. Any other ideas?
