@limitedestrodix Alexandre Dumas pere wrote over 400 historical novels exposing world tyranny(Roman Catholic Empire). Alexandre Dumas pere was born near Paris in 1802 and 'coincidentally' in 1902 The Society of Gesu(Jesuits) were expelled from France for the 3rd and last time. The Society of Jesu(Jesuits) have been expelled from 83 countries and their pope is ARAMIS AND HE IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE COUNT OF MONTE CHRISTO(GENERAL OF THE JESUITS).
@limitedestrodix "The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizen of this plight."
@limitedestrodix Have we succeeded? We think so. Before long we shall have covered with our narratives an enormous period of time; between the "Comtesse de Salisbury' and the "Comte de Monte Christo" five centuries and a half are compresed. Well, we assert that we have taught France as much history about those five centuries and a half as any historian.
@limitedestrodix 'I do not like the reappearance of The Jesuits ... If ever there was a body of men who merited damnation on earth and in hell, it is this society of Loyola's. Nevertheless, we are compelled by our system of religous toleration to offer them an asylum.' John Adams, 2nd President of the U.S.A
What got me into Uriah Heep was listening to the "Sweet Freedom" album and I've started listening to their other albums (mainly the David Bryon era) and they're one of my all time favorite groups
All hail the great Gary Thain! I do miss him so and David Byron too. It was the "Wonderworld" album that I first heard Uriah Heep. I was an instant fan, as I listened to my brother's 8-track player. "Dreams" was the first song I ever heard from UH and they became my favorite band, all time, bar none!!!
we freely speak of dreams, we marvel at what they conceal, but in my wonderworld, each sleeping vision is so real - fantastic lines...how well described and put...one have to have wild imagination to be able to right those lines...
Early heavy metal baby gotta love it this band can be loved by so many different kinds of people its not even funny. If I wanted to I could bang my head to this or easy living, or I could show some chicks july morning or lady in black and then theyll think I'm all sensitive and crap
its like that youngblood. look at the live wizard vid to see the kind of 70s chicks those lines worked on. kids these days will never know the joy of high waisted bell bottoms and blouses cinched up right beneath perky young tits.(i like the chick in the red sweater)
more metal than judas priest coukld ever hope to be.
Yes, everysong on this record is great- love Thain- he was also on some Keef Harltley lps- hell yes- love the Heep- Hensley is a songwriting genius- Box great guitar etc.
Hensley is definitely on keys in multiple spots. Could have been (probably was?)on backing guitar in this, the studio version.
Powerful song - Thain really does rock out here!
It's really great to see all this material posted: People, support the guys by buying the CD's (maybe on Heep's website?) Try to find the later re-releases (better audio) and then play 'em on a really good stereo -- if you haven't, you'll be amazed! If you have, you'll be "re-enraptured" - heheh.
If you can hear this song by earphones, you could hear the Ken Hensley's keyboard on the opening riff....anyway in this song the keyboard's volume is very low,is not so easy aware about it....... bye! :-)

This is hard rock...They don't play prog-hard rock as usual...What a great eclectic band!

In studio he was on both instruments and Mick too on guitar, live they´ve played it most without organ.

Gary Thain was also 27 when he died, and that makes him part of the pantheon of rock stars who died at that age.
