As to Nanking, some have said that the actions of the Chinese forces provoked the Japanese military into committing atrocities (by not surrendering but ambushing the Japanese at various points). When Peking surrendered earlier, there were no atrocities reported.

@undertakerRach Well, 300,000 people just don't disappear. During wartime, records cannot be complete. The account shows such a small number because the safety zone was understaffed and many victims are not able to report the atrocities. The population statistic before Japanese occupation does not include the refugees who have retreated to the city and the military personnels (who later became POWs).

中国は今は反日教育をし南京大虐殺30万人を日本に押しつけていますが、それ以前は蒋介石の国民党軍が共産党軍30万人殺したと国民に教育していたそうです。鳴霞さんの動画でその事を知りました。

Moreover, TSZC described in the Document No.9 dated in Dec 17, "We had nearly all the civilian population in the Safety Zone, so the number 200,000 in Dec 13 when the Japanese entered the city. Also TSZC documents read that in January 1938 the population was 250,000.

南京大虐殺が有ったかどうかはわかりません。しかし、もし自分がこれと同じ状況に陥ったら‥自分が殺した敵兵の仲間がまだ生きていたとしたら、彼らの親や子供や兄弟が生きて居たとしたら、そしてそれらの人たちが捕虜として拘束できないぐらいに大勢いたとしたら‥そうして夜を迎えたなら僕は間違いなくその日、枕を高くして熟睡することは出来ないだろう。そうした状況をもし自分が迫られたとしたら‥生き延びるためにやってしまうかも知れない、これも任務遂行のためとして‥思うに虐殺する側も（見知らぬ土地なら尚更）決死の思いで遂行するのではないだろうか‥想像しただけで恐ろしい。戦争は絶対反対です、多分に現場で起きるであろうこうした不測の事態の連続に僕はきっと耐えることができない。日本で生きていくのも精一杯なのに

「日本は残虐のことをしていない」、「ほら、日本軍が中国を占領してもこんなに平和なんだよ」とか嘘の映像を国民に流し、日本国民を騙していた。でも
当時のイギリス人記者の証言のように、日本人は一部の中国人を集めて、子供に飴を投げたりして、映像を撮っていた。その反面、人殺し映像や、婦女を強姦した映像はなにも撮っていなかった。

I watched the video. I dont deny some illegal acts to Chinese soldiers. That was war. War w/o kill is not war. My opinion is that the total number of dead Chinese can be estimated under 50000.

@undertakerRach Well, 300,000 people just don't disappear. During wartime, records cannot be complete. The account shows such a small number because the safety zone was understaffed and many victims are not able to report the atrocities. The population statistic before Japanese occupation does not include the refugees who have retreated to the city and the military personnels (who later became POWs).

@undertakerRach If the Chinese army is actually the one responsible for the rampage, it could not be hidden and the survivors would point them out. Just think about it, if the Jap army was really being nice to the citizens, why would they accuse the Japs? Why isn't here a single survivor today to defend the Jap. Think about it. You are concentrating too much on the minority cases and use them to represent the overall data, this is a fallacy which could not stand on its own.

And look where all your evidence and theory come from, the Japanese government: I can't help but to question the validity of those evidence too. Think about it.
