To be completely honest, I love this song by The Clash, I love the Clash, and I love Arcade Fire, but this cover was pretty bad. I think they could easily pull it off, but not with the instruments they had.

I disagree. The guns of brixton isn't about that. Its about standing up as an army against a fascist government. I thought it was beautiful that this mass crowd of people were listening to this song and it was becoming an anthem to them. When I was listening to it, it really made me feel attached to them. Beautiful.

I loved the gig, but didn't anyone else feel this song was a bit inappropriate? I can see they often do it as an encore, but considering the recent shooting of two kids in Brixton and the stabbing at Clapham North, shouldn't someone have suggested they leave it out??

i think they are fine to leave it in. there are guns in brixton... its just the reality of life, just as the clash were a great band and brixton is a historic music venue.

such a great show, though during the gig i couldnt hear them singing this, but on the camera it came out quite well.
