  • Dino City graphics.

  • is a good hack, Bowser's Starship looks cool, and is easier than the TSRP version

  • this hack is pretty crazy at the end

    damn lol

  • Man ... I haven't played TSRP in a hell of a long time ...

I'm recently playing TSRPR and it's REALLY fun. I've noticed the improved graphics, especially at the castles and some levels.

  • Dieser hack wird bestimt auch wieder genial =)

Besonders die Musik gefällt mir und auch die Sprites und Hintergründe gefallen mir besonders. Wobei mir die Genger-Sprites bekannt vorkommen, naja egal x)

  • Will all castles use this music? Also, I'm curious what castle this is (I didn't really play TSRP1 that much).

  • It's Larry Castle (World 7).

  • Custom graphics aren't everything... but they're certainly something!

  • I made it myself.

  • It's very reminiscent of the castle music from SMW2. Awesome!

  • @CrazyQuark What did you use to make the music?

  • Really, really great work. I love the creativity. 5/5

  • Adding music is still confusing to me. It's the only thing that I can't do...no matter what program I use. What do you use?

Anyways...excellent job. Loved the first one as well as the second. Will this remake have a brand new overworld? Those are always interesting.

  • I like your graphics for the enemies way better. I am just curious as to what enemies are in this game. Can we expect Shy Guy, Beezo, and others? I really want to see your revamped Bob-Omb if he is in. The one from SMW looked like it was suppose to be in a Mario Land game. lol

Also, are yellow-shelled koopas in the game?

  • For the enemies' graphics I will use the GFX icegoom amde, with a few exceptions. If you refer to the bob-omb how he looked like in TSRP2, I can say he will appear in this one, too. And yellow shelled koopas were in the original TSRP, so why shouldn't they in the remake? In addition, there will be a few custom sprites here and there, but not much, since I want to stay as close to the original as possible.

  • I noticed a mistake. When you jump on one of the Dry Bones, it turns into a flattened Bony Beetle. Shouldn't the Dry Bones, when jumped on, turn into a pile of bones?

  • That's not really a mistake. Nintendo used the same graphics for that from the very beginning. The graphics are replaced now, but I think they work very well, even better than Nintendo's original ones (where it was much more obvious).

  • Wow, it looks like all the enemy sprites were re-drawn and everything! Do you have any enemies from other games in this one? I would love to see a 2D Broozer, or Shy Guy make some sort of appearance.

  • The music seems somehow nostalgic to me...but I don't know why...anyways, keep up the good work

  • It sounds very similar in places to the Yoshi's Island castle music.

This looks wonderful, TSRP is one of the hacks I've never gotten around to playing, but I can't wait for this to come out so I can play it immediately.

  • Is the music going to be the music for all the castles? It looks neat, can't wait until it's out

  • I played TSRP1 and 2 and they both had the best level design I have ever seen in a hack, keep up the good work, I'll look forward to playing this one :D

  • So they finaly found how to add new musics, it looks really cool so far. Anyway will there be a new overworld like tsrp2 or you'll keep the original smw one again? It would be nice if you could fit the levels in a brand new overworld, as we're probably all tired to see the original. Even if it's a remake.

  • Yep, people requested a new overworld for years. So far, I've never felt remaking the hack just for the overworld, but since Icegoom released his awesome Redrawn-GFX, I thought more about a remake. The fact, that you are able to insert your own music is more a coincidence, but a great one. ;)

  • Looks like fun.

  • What is this song? This sounds like a died out version of Yoshi's Island 1 in SMW kind of at the beginning. Or is it the castle theme from Yoshi's Island?

Great job so far! Can't wait for it any longer!

  • Pretty neat. I never played TSRP 1 but seeing this I think I'll wait!

  • I forgot to ask:

    How'd you do the music?

  • I composed it with a somewhat outdated version of cubase, saved the track as a midi and converted it with tinymml to the right format.

  • Very nice level your hack vids get funner and funner by the minute nice job.
