i need help:/ got a d60+ easycap, only works in pal 50 with colour, and pal 60 black and white in NSTC and i cant record call of duty in colour, i got U-lead video studio 10 as software, anyone suggesting any other software or solutions?

hey mate sorry if this doesnt help.. i was never very good with the easycap

wat are you recording with? if you are using ULead i recommend trying to capture with Windows Movie Maker and mess around with the settings, see if you can get some colour. Otherwise, maybe search for the latest drivers (took me a while to find) and download those.

I know its a silly question but are you sure that u have a DC60+ ? because i know that the dc60 (without the +) cannot record in PAL-60 at all.

also, one last thing, if at all possible i really recommend getting a Hauppauge HD PVR if you have a High Definition tv. It aint cheap, but the quality is brilliant and the recording software is great. if your Aussie like me, im afraid the only way to get one though is to buy from overseas and have them ship it across.

Anyway, just thought i'd mention it, check out any of my Modern Warfare 2 videos to see the quality.

Hi. Did you record in Vegas? Did you have any problem setting up your device? I have a problem trying to use Vegas' VidCap. I always get "Device not connected" both for Easycap and a PCI recorder working 100% fine with Ulead VideoStudio. You have any idea of why this is?

Hey. Actually this was a while ago, so I'm not really sure on the details. I'm pretty sure I recorded everything using Windows Movie Maker which usually just comes with Windows. I'm afraid I can't really help with your Vegas issue, as I never tried to record with it myself.

@remicarlo i think most of this was done in Sony Vegas including cutting the scenes. The clips were recorded as several files (1 per game) in windows movie maker.

the dc60+ can record better for both because it can record in PAL-60 which most good games run on e.g. Call of Duties and Halo etc

i dont capture with ulead

just use windows movie maker for capturing coz its easier

my easycap is set for PAL-B to capture off playstation - i havent got mine to work for 360 really soz but if you have a dc60+ you should be able to cap in ulead with PAL-60

Hmm. Little laggy. Overall quality is pretty damn decent. Just tackle the framerate and you'll be rocking with awesome quality :D BTW nice killing skills ;)
