  • actually thats a pretty dang big cricket lol

  • NO THTS NOT A CRICKET ITS A CROCKET THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE

  • @narwals27 no one cares

  • @blackhawk250 everyone does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whats that white spot on him??? : /

  • to anyone who thinks thats inhumane to the cricket, go die, thats the way life is and thats the diet of any lizard really, when you find an equal in fake crap then you can complain, but seeing as most pellets have insects in them anyway, dont think it helps your "cause" much

  • That was no lil' cricket.. more like a biggo cricket haha xD

  • I wish people could just lay off the insults every now and then! Just cause you dont have a life doesnt mean you have to spend it yelling at people at the way they keep their animals! His monitor may be obese now or it may be completely healthy but either way mind your own goddamn buisnes!

  • your savannah monitor makes me happy (:

    its so cute! ^-^

  • i like how the lizards so small it makes the cricket look massive

  • haha i like how he move his head at end hes a beast... and calm down its a cricket

  • I bet this monitor is dead or was given away by now

  • @zach01313 why do you say that

  • Comment removed

  • @zach01313 your a moron, the Sav is healthy and about 3.5 feet.

  • @LittleDirka make an update then, I bet its obese.

  • So ADORABLE!

  • i love how a leopard gecko simply bites the cricket then eats it, the monitor...he thrashes the poor paralized cricket to death lol then eats it...lol

  • youre a prick how could you do that to the poor cricket... no im joking, that is the cutest thing i have ever seen :)

  • Could someone mind telling me why savannah's drag their prey on the ground? I saw a video of a savannah eating a chick and it did the same thing.

  • @el3m2tigre

to break legs and bones and stuff it into their mouths.

  • the little guy is so cute. what does it take to raise one? i might want to have one some day.

  • @xxxbustedsoulxxx

just so you know that lil cute thing that can barely shake a cricket turns into a 4 foot garbage disposal, look to spend upwards of 1000$ a year feedn him

  • @RatPACK01 really wow. garbage disposal is a good term for a monitor. i might reconsider lol

  • its soooo cute :)

  • jiminy = shat on

  • Can some1 tell me whats a good flooring for my savannah monitor and tips how to raise one im getting one soon.

  • @Dudeonline123

newspaper is easiest to clean. any soil without pesticides and chemicals works. i personally use a jungle mix its like soil with sum bark, keeps the humidity up. but use a dish or put ur monitor in a smaller feeder tank or bin or anything just so they dont ingest bark, which happens really easy when a clumsy lil sav launches itself at a cricket

  • Aww. C:

Haha mine won't eat crickets for some reason. So he's been eating kingworms and chicken heart. :P

  • Oh...yeah because my cat kills any small creature she can.

  • I would feed him with mice only, rabbits are too great for this!

  • not a baby. An adult yes but not only mice, that can be very bad.

  • Are these lizards tame? So, you can have it like a small dog?

  • If you handle them enough, yes.

  • um when it gets older.......it wont be such a "Small dog" lol

  • As baby's they have a pretty nasty attitude, so you have to hold them everyday and make them get used to you, in order for them to be a tame adult.

  • Oh. They seem cool, would they get along with a Cat?

  • It all depends on the cat, because I know some cats that wouldn't hurt a fly, but I know other cats that would try and take down for instance, a savannah monitor... honestly I wouldn't risk it.

  • @Beardyz My cat would try to take down a savannah monitor :) or anything thats not human haha

  • im thinking about getting one and i9 have a 20L can u tell me some of the basics please???much apreciated

  • i fucking know that, but someone sayd' "feed dead its better"

  • wha dead crickets? you fucking IDIOT THEY HAVE NO FUCKING NUTRITION YOU FUCK I HOPE YOU GET HIT BY AIDS

  • the cricket aint dead you DUMBASS!

  • Shut the fuck up. The cricket was ALIVE.

  • Oh forget my other comment I didnt realize you were replying to someone else... lol

  • @DayLight95 you talk like youre a big man yet you have videos of you playing with a tech deck on ure account... brilliant

  • you know that the nutritive value is much lower on dead animals... therefore live food better choice

  • Lol, the funny thing is.... You fuckers decide to flame other peoples Snakes killing rabbits videos.. but this video.. Oh, its a fucking cricket.. Stupid asses

  • I KNOW, i dont get that

  • hahahahaha sooooo true. i got a sav an a boa... sav is to young for mice but they are way more brutal about killn their mice

  • @TheGreatMartinez ITS NO CRICKETS ITS A CROCKET!!!!!!!

  • @narwals27 its actually a crocket how do u not no tht

  • Its recommended to feed live crickets because it also provides exercise and hunting which is important. Also crikets in a can smell more and lose alot of their nutritional value.

  • awws, mine does the exact same thing...

And wow only $25? Geez, mine was $60 at only about a month old. Although I bought mine in a reptile expo.. so that might explain why... haha..

  • well derr, they all eat you fuck

  • Wtf is your problem??? They eat live food all the time in the wild, it's just a cricket, there to be feeders not to be kept as pets. And one this size can be brought for $25.00, or $40.00 depending on who you buy it from. I paid $25.00 for mine yesterday, and $30.00 for a 8month old, two months ago.

  • Yes you can feed them dead crickets they come in a can, mine seems to enjoy them.

  • haha its like a little puppy with a chew toy

  • "Im not eating it unless i give it a good bum burning,"

    lol

  • niiice, feeding it with insects its the right thing to do, people start feeding them baby mice and when they 1 year old the savanna is obese...

  • yummmm lol

  • Can it talk?

  • Tough crowd
