@italysoccereight you go up with the setter if the ball it going to come over the net so if the setter makes contact with the ball on your side of the net you hit his arm thus giving you the point because he is back row. in this case he didn't do it so yes it was pointless for the middle blocker to go up.

@WeedTuber420 The pass looks like it might be an overpass, as a setter if i saw no block up with me, I would have probably faked the 1 hand set and drop it last second, so its debatable whether a middle should go up with that or not. number 3 should have helped with the middle in that situation though
The outside should have been there to take care of the potential overpass, the middle should have been lined up with the 3 ball middle, instead he shifts to the setter and leaves his rightside to try and stuff a 6'5 black middle on a three ball. NOT gonna happen.
