As pleasant as it is to think of this Cantabile as Chopin's 'real' Minute Waltz, and as common as it is to find performances that seem to strive for that 60-second duration, I think your slower tempo gives each phrase exactly time to induce its manifold 'musical meanings' in the listener's head and heart, exactly enough time for the listener to realize those meanings before the next phrase begins. Your touch and interpretation are tops as well. Thanks for sharing this rare gem with us!
your hands denote a really talented pianist, im really happy for you and you should be very proud, im just retaking practice little by little, since i have no teacher im learning kinda slow, but it doesnt matter, because eventualy i will reach my goal, i really hope for my hands to be as experienced as yours.
@miguelcob Greetings from Slovakia. I am self taught piano enthusiast. I am very slow in adopting these skills. It was like fighting with neurosis or compulsive obsessive disorder. If I can give any advice out of this experience: "fighting" makes any learning progress a lot slower. :-)
I must say that it always fascinates me to hear the difference in interpretations when it comes to performing various compositions by some of the greatest composers to ever live. I just uploaded my interpretation of this same piece, and it is quite different than yours. Funny how both of us were looking at (most likely) the same score, but we feel and play it differently.
It depends. It requires right attitude to discover. This kind of music seems easier to grasp than classical sonatinas even if harmonizing is more complicated.
that was fantastic, im still learning how to play this and it is nice to know how it should sound. At least now i know how bad i am and how much work i have to do. Thanks u were amazing! x

I am poor pianist and I play piano very little lately. I think it can take quite some time to learn any piece for me. Subscribe to cubusdk. He is very decent player. :-)
