I take from your name you are a SF fan. Only time SF wil be doing Static line jumps is to maintain their Airborne status while in the States (this just means more pay for the month). Its a joke. there hasn't been a combat STATIC line jump in decades. An Airborne unit (not SF) attempted one during the first months of going to Iraq... they were met by reporters. Not much tactical advantage in modern combat.

the US had the industrial power, and through this, the military power, to defeat japan and germany. the russians would have had their problems with germany if not for the Lend&Lease shipment from the US. Same goes with Great Britain. Churchill can brag long and far about no surrender,but the moment his peolpe have nothing to eat, he's in trouble, not even speaking about a industry that wasn't by far comparable to that of nazi germany. without the US all of them would have been fucked.

I have met many of your troops and your marines.Your marines are brilliant soldiers and believe me you would not want to mess with them.I did not mention them but they actually are disciplined well.Where as your regular infantry soldiers are still among the best in the world.That is the more experienced ones.Alot of them are stupid.They celebrate once they fire a Javolin at a veichle and it explodes.They need too learn not to do that.

Why would we wonder why they used SBS instead of our own forces? Maybe because they were the closest unit to the action, which can not be confirmed or denied. Maybe because we wanted to give our guys a rest, we do most of the fighting, fact not opinion. Because you see it on the internet does not make it true.
