Hey, just a quick Q. If you were modeling a 3D airplane, and you wanted to start with a cylinder and shape it from there, how could you like, segment the long cylinders in places and then just adjust them from there to make the shape of the body?
Select the liine editor, and select all of the lines along the length of your cylinder. Right click, and hit cut. Cut the lines as many times as you feel necessary. Then press 'C' to connect the points. If you use the face selection tool, that should work.
I know that was poorly worded, but I hope it goes someway to helping.
what version is used in this tutorial?

I dont remember but it was pretty old. Its been over 3 years since I made the tutorial.

I think I know what you mean. If so:
