It comes down to three things - terrain, resources and intelligence. Providing there is enough food, and evolution whether natural or not exists, and depending on the landscape, anything can exist in a world where time and distance is so constant and comparative, you cannot set the rules and don't know where the end is.

As for those massive stones in the video, I don't know. I think we should try to work out how people could have done it, before we take it as evidence for giants. Nor is there any crane or lifting machine anywhere in the world that's capable of lifting a lot of those rocks. It's literally either a lost technology, giants, or something else.

I have a book called the kolbrin, its supposed to be ancient and it describes a similar situation with a giant female being tricked and falling from a cliff and breaking her back on a rock. The rock was afterwards made sacred, I think this was on the book of the sons of fire.
