You people are crazy! You will NEVER hear a more expressive interpretation than that of Marcin Dylla's. On this specific Sonata I have heard all the pros play it, even your PRECIOUS Segovia, and none of them have put as much careful thought into the tone of color and shaping of every phrase. The rest of them sound like students by comparison.
its hard to judge audio that is not recorded for high end listening, so those who say he is not playing with enough color may be right, but you will never truly know
It's obvious that he is playing this piece as he interprets it and he has incredible technique, but I think his take on this piece is too heavy handed. He plays is as if he were playing a grand piano not a guitar. Why not use all the colors that the guitar has? I much prefer Segovia on this one.
@Boldstrummer I like that he plays it like a grand. He is pushing the boundaries of the guitar so that it may one day keep up with the piano. All the great guitarists have never been satisfied with the guitar as it is, but rather pushed it further to be greater than it is.
Wonderful player (haven't heard him before), brilliant movement of a fantastic sonata by Ponce. I only wish the sound was coming the left as well as the right of my headphones.
i don't know if its this one it looks like it, but i think he has a spruce neck, i think that's so bad ass. I'm totally doing that when i get a custom guitar.
Exciting!!!

It's a shame that the audio is not stereo, but great performance nonetheless.
