That wasn't cannon (it's earth-3, while 'normal' time is earth-2 and earth-1 or prime is us) and In the current timeline Joker has 'died' (to be determined) and it is insinuated that Harley Quinn is pregnant. But then again, Clayface is Talia Al Ghul's ex-Boyfriend now, so what the hell? If we're going by unlimited, then he probably recooperated and eventually retired when he was older. For now, red robin.

One batman show that decided to celebrate the silver age of DC comics in all its over the top campy glory does not mean that batman is going to slide back towards batman always being portrayed as campy.

The references and tributes to thing like DKR, old Japanese Batman series, Kingdom Come and so much more. This show also shows very unique aspect of DC and that is, that they take the most embarasing and laughable ideas from Silver age and make them work. And its also satire of Batman being written as total Mary Sue.

@Ikarosus thats great but I just like the "Dark Batman" persona much more than this and find that the show hurt "Batman". I guess they're trying to appeal to a younger audience and as you said a fan service, but I believe all the humor and seeing some episodes where you hear Batman talking to himself, negatively effects his image. It's funny sometimes with the humor and satire but "funny" is not suited for Batman's character.
