Both are very useful and bless me immensely thanks... I'd like some explanation on what you play as you walk down towards the end of the video. The camera angle makes it a bit difficult to decipher.
I do like your style of teaching...I am some where between beginner and advanced...if there is such a place...could you explain what it is you are playing here...trying to find lessons on gospel piano without the phat chords being shown today...can you help me?
play more voicings but it would if you could name your chords as oppose to saying this chord is a flat c harp and dsharp.. but sir God has truly blessed you
Beautiful sounds, touching! I prefer the other method of teaching, though, as I couldn't keep up with the movements. Was more taken up with the sounds! Thanks.
Perhaps change the keyboard view to where the viewers can see your hands the way you see them as you play. That upside down view is not good. Towards the end you just played and didn't instruct what you did.
Thank you so much for being a blessing. You keep it all in balance and help me understand a bit better the "why" and the "how!" I am learning so much from all your videos. Keep them coming and may the Lord keep on blessing you.
I appreciate both styles of teaching you are an excellent teacher. Personally I am trying to get out of the stagnation of playing blues piano in only several keys. What you are sharing is very easy to grasp due mostly to your easy manner and keeping each "lesson" simple and focused. Great job!
Dude, you've given us so much. If only there was something we could give back to you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and thank you for your generosity. It's making a difference to so many of us! :)
Sweet! Your videos are the most hip Ive seen on youtube for jazz harmony. In regards to "what we would prefer", aside from providing the names of the chord changes and your take on the voicings I think you should spare any other theory and instead keep on playing ! Music theory is easily obtainable for anyone who knows how to google, but what makes your videos shine above all else is hearing and seeing how these chord types ultimately function.
This is some great stuff!! looking forward to trying it out in church on Sunday! This is the first video I've ever seen from you. Didnt know about you. Looking forward to more!! Thank you for sharing your gift!
love to learn more of what you do , i like the show & tell .. I think it would help if we had a better view of the keyboard, never the less my brother !!! you blessed me . Thanks Please Be Blessed ! !
I really really appreciate your music theory lessons, very detailed, calm and easy to follow, you have a gift. The worship harmony is beautiful, calming almost soothing I needed that b/c I'm unemployed and trying to find my way....thank you
I loved that open sound. I use similar stuff, but I am always looking for new voicings for my music. The theory you give is excellent also, but could you please reverse the picture. I got a little dizzy looking at it from this direction. LOL!!! Be Blessed!!!
theory.

Is it okay if I use this in a composition of mine? I came up with some really cool stuff based on this melody/progression.
