Anyway, I will leave the fire & brimstone to such experts as yourself; but I have noticed that, for my part, a little bit of salt goes a good way toward neutralizing the burn, although in an endurance display it completely defeats the purpose- like starting a fire just to put it out.

The hottest pepper I have ever eaten raw is a Hawai'ianized chili, which I believe to be some kind of bastardized Thai pepper-hybrid; I don't think it tops 250K SHU, though I have heard some enthusiasts say it can get up around 400,000. The hottest sauce I have had was made from the bhut naga jolokia, and I equate that personal experience with the episode of "The Simpsons" in which Homer takes a hallucinatory journey after partaking of "Guatemalan insanity peppers".. It was ugly. Just ugly.

Hardcore, man. I tried telling "The L.A. Beast" that so-and-so-many Scovilles would curdle any dairy products practically on contact, but I believe the point was lost on him; and judging by the heat I received (pun not intended) from certain of his fans, my opinion was not welcome in a forum that only wanted to discuss his next-day's smoldering caldera. I can no longer handle heat. I love -and miss- the endorphins, but medically I just can't eat hots without brutal, debilitating repercussions.

Burn was completely different. This didn't hurt my throat just my mouth. The inside of my mouth has never been on fire like that. I think if I did more it might be worst. I honestly can't say how hot it is because the company doesn't even know.

I do have pure crystal that I have not opened but I want to save it.

I have some crystals and vodka but I'm saving it lol. Some of the sauce and peppers I have had me freaking out more because of a different type of burn and pain. This stuff was just a clean burn/pain and it didn't hurt my throat much. I think I have broken my receptors because I don't react that bad anymore. The heat was so far beyond anything I have ever had I think my body started pumping adrenalin as a response. I will try more today.
