  • This sounds like Front line assembly remix

  • is that Agent Smith in there?

  • I was a limmited keyboard plyer in this video....all really good guys the guitar player was my roomate i miss them much

  • My dad was a former member of this band, and he's at 1:14 :D

  • I've got this on VHS with some other vids.

  • WOW! Now HERE is a real FIND! Fuck yeah! I haven't heard these guys in YEARS!!!!

    Thank You.

  • I love the lyrics to this. Absurd but brilliant.

Place the sign in a vat of cat juice!

  • Super morceau de Penal Colony. Malheureusement ttrop peu joué dans les soirées goth.

  • Someone needs to upload "Among the Living", "Blue Nine", and "Reconciled". I would if I could, they are great songs and should be accessible.

  • Dee Madden...used to know him...kewl guy...actually he kicked my ass back into shape and gave me the inspiration to get back to the business of playing music again, so thanks Dee if you read this...Love the vid and love the song...you are a true talent!

  • Is this not the Front Line Assembly remix of the song?

  • indeed it is! I was just going to comment that lol

  • did u know that that is aleister crowley speaking in the beginning of the video???

  • @FuzzyNugs420

yes quite a distinct voice he has...

  • it's clumsy at times, yes, but when the dude his rocking his Neronian goodness, it all feels like the kind of lovely Industrial goodness we don;t get to enjoy much these days. Check out Hate Dept's 'Flesh Feeds Soul' and The Fair Sex's 'You Know How'

  • Agreed

  • now i know wat penal means,is it anything to do with australia?its wat ma maths teacher sed ;]

  • Finally I 'get' why he's dressed as lady liberty. That statue is actually a Freemason image/deity or whatever.

  • this is so classic

  • Only if your a faggot that was born in the late 1980s..

Lets see, what came out first.. this music video or the movie...

You failed to relate the song to the men in black suits that are linked with with the tale of the Illuminati

  • Only if your a faggot that was born in the late 1980s

lets see.. what came out first.. this video or that movie..

  • Very amusing. And brilliant.

  • que buena banda, creo que este video es del compilado Industrial Revolution

  • That's more genuine industrial tunage than I have has the pleasure to view/hear. Keep it up and not a bad vid, just a bit pretentious but that comes with the territory- and I practise wiccan magic.

  • I Love it when the sampled guitars come in at the end :)

  • too you ;) i admit some of this video has some dumb parts in it, but it still has that oldschool 80s industrial beat that most shitty ebm and techno groups of today leave out. what kills me is to see someone put on leather bondage shit, dye their hair green, pop in the 'combichrist' bullshit, and start to dance around... 80s/early 90s industrial forever!

  • errrm, that one reply was to empirenoise, i dont know why i got a thumbs down.

  • This video and song rocks. I love that analog bassline. Kicks that crap out of most modern EBM/industrial.

  • i concur but i like dyed hair and leather bondage shit. the real problem was and is the herd mentality. nitzer ebb, nin, jesus jone, a dash od death metal my favs

  • of* dam typo

  • You know, you could say what you think industrial at its best is...

  • not sure i understand what you mean, but i have always been a big fan of old school industrial, SPK, some old cabaret voltaire, die krupps, some psychic tv, throbbing gristle ; then, i like some good leaether strip and klutae, psychopomps, older fla, SP (before "the process").

  • Go listen to your pals in the backstreet boys.

  • Elvis on drums lol !

  • haha, do any of you know what enochian is? LOL

  • Some of us do. Some of us are "freemasons of enochian magick" ;).

  • If Freemasonry was this cool, I'd join today. Greatest song ever.

  • One of the best industrial songs and videos ever!! I love how these guys don't take themselves too seriously, even the music and lyrics are serious. I love how the singer jams out in the Statue of Liberty costume, with the R & B moves... too funny!! I do my crunches to this song after doing my cardio. I can't find this song ANYWHERE!

  • it also has stuff that makes you wonder why the bands even bothered..."hey,I know! let's stand around on a cliff, pretending to play our instruments..."

  • the 90's were a great time for industrial music-my fave anyway

  • Same, I mean I appreciate how important the late 70s English scene was but I think the era of rivet head culture was pretty fukken sweet too. Shame I was only born in 89!

  • Heh this video is on a DVD from Netflix - Gothic Industrial Madness.

Aside from the song, this has to be one of the funniest videos I have ever seen.

  • That DVD also has a kickass performance of TG's Discipline.

  • I didn't hear this until I bought an industrial box set in 1999. This song still rocks in my house/car from time to time :)

  • Dee Madden's still making music but I believe all the other members of the band have left, check out ExVoto

    myspace/penalcolony

  • just makes me miss the days of 21st circuitry and Re-Constriction comps, coldwave vs synthcore feuds, and the clear knowledge that they would never be able to sell this music to top 40 radio...and they didn't. Just stole the techniques and look and made crossover/adidas rock drivel out of it.

  • Shit, I wish I was old enough to have experienced the early 90s and all the awesome things that happened to industrial music back then, sadly I was only born in 89 and so all that stuff is beyond me.

  • @ammutbite I've got a load of those CDs, bought them dead cheap off Amazon. You can tell they were bought by people who emerged from their rivethead phase at the end of the 90s, blinking in the sunlight as the drugs wore off and realised it was time to get normal haircuts and IT jobs ;D There's some great stuff on them though, all those US industrial acts like Babyland, Vampire Rodents, Chemlab, Sweat Engine etc.

  • I actually have this video on old school VHS and I've watched it about 100 times......One of my all time favorite music videos ever made, so original and unique. Every member of the band looks different from each other, the way it should be....Why didn't these fuckers make it big?? Where are they now?

  • At last this classic video's been added to youtube, thank you.
