@cami072 Do more research. Mary was telling the truth about Steve Harvey attempting to destroy her emotionally & financially in 2005. It was only in 2007, when Mary sued their divorce attorney & Steve Harvey was facing jail time for hiding funds, that he came to his senses and offered her 50% of the community property. The truth is that Steve Harvey, in 2005, did attempt to leave Mary broke & homeless. Then, he put himself out there as some kind of relationship guru. She was right to blast him.

Mary Harvey wants to use her son as a meal ticket. Look at our neighborhoods, all the single, independent mothers raising children. Our community is in a mess because these women choose to be single Moms-opting instead for welfare, free housing and now child support. "Equitable distribution" states, which are 41 states in the union, have not based their states divorce laws on being EQUAL to both spouses. It's only about being FAIR. There is a big difference between splitting assets, equally, and dividing assets, fairly. Unless you are managing your spouses career or are, actively, engaged in promoting his/her career, your support is important but it is NOT equal to the actual work the working spouse puts into advancing his/her career. That's the LAW!!!

I believe that Mary is right to have put Steve Harvey on blast for being a Hypacrite and a Monster, who was taking credit for being a Good Man, when he wasn't. Do the research. He hid assets & tried to destroy Mary in 2005, so Mary had to file a lawsuit in 2007 to receive all that she was awarded. Steve Harvey was afraid of going to jail, so he offered her 50%. Steve Harvey is a Back Stabbing Asshole who is only out for himself & even tried to screw over Bernie Mac & Kat Williams.
