  • ok your ready :D now open a store :D :P

  • omfg

  • thank you for the vid firstly :D

i know, one does not talk about money referring to cigars but that collection must be worth at least, well i dont know, 30.000$ ? You have so many cigars, you must be a everyday junky to smoke them all till your death :D

i don´t wanna be sassy, just interested, what do you do for a living?

    jeez :D

  • @skygazer420 LOL. No, I have a cigar about once a week. Sometimes more, and sometimes less. At the time of that video I had spent about $5000 total but I've been enjoying cigars for about 7 years now. For work, I run a few Internet based companies.

  • you can give me some of them :DD

  • Do you have your own website or blog and do you review cigars as well?

  • @weimerad Nope. I'm to lazy to do that. Maybe one day I will.

  • have you got a humidor for all these cigars ?

  • @gryllbears Yes. Well, I have 2 tuperdors, 10 jaradors, 2 winadors, 1 coolerdor, and 1 humidor.

  • @socalocmatt No Words ^^

  • W.O.W. You could smoke a cigar everyday for the next five years and still not run out :P Do you purchase online? If so, where? I've made purchases from J*R Cigars, but that's about it. awesome vid

  • @GABooLEcX Thanks. Yep, I buy from several different places online. Some of the sites I buy from are famous, corona, deadwood, c-bid, tobacco grove, and old virginia.

  • @socalocmatt Do you buy from Thompson? Huge a selection there.

  • @cheapcape I did once. They kept calling me and spamming me. So, I wont buy from them again. Plenty of retailers out there that wont blow up my phone.

  • Just found this video randomly while looking around Matt. some of those sticks look really familliar, wonder why haha. Nice collection brother

  • @mike91lx LOL. Yep, I'm sure they do look familiar ;)

  • Hahaha, I see you are a fan of CI ;)

  • @silverado669 No. Me and my bank account hate them LOL. I think they are a fan of be though :)

  • I seriously hope you have a real humidor and not just plastic tubs, I didn't even see a hygrometer in this vid... All those cigars being wasted, either dried out or beetle infestation galore...

  • @ParaDiceYall LOL. I think you may have missed the description in the video "Taking everything out of my humidors and taking video my stash. Enjoy!" ;)

  • @socalocmatt No I didn't see the description. As far as beetle infestation goes, you said yourself that it happens from a temperature issue, well I thought you were storing the cigars in plastic containers and I didn't see a hygrometer in the video, so you would have temperature issues if that were the case...

  • @ParaDiceYall Oh yea, I got 'em taken care of :). I have them all at stable humidity and temp. I use wireless hygrometere that are ISO tested and NIST certified. I thought your concern for the beetles was because of not using a "normal" humi made of spanish cedar. Oddly enough though, tupperware (tupperdor) offers an very efficient and stable environement for cigar storage. But I see your point, and yes, I do use humidity devices and hugrometers but they were left in the humis when I made this.

  • @ParaDiceYall Forgot to add: Beetle infestation doesn't have anything to do with storeage method. Its a temperature issue. Although spanish cedar stoping beetles in cigars is a common misconception. But yes, I have a several storage methods and 9 hygrometers.

  • @ParaDiceYall Lol, I can understand that. I'm in the same predicament :)

  • Could you maybe explain what the gifted cigars mean? "Cigar bombs, make a wish, hitch hikers"? Were they cigars that you won some how or given to you by individuals? Thanks man. I didn't go through all the comments, if you already answered just let me know and I will find it.

  • @stellbo Cigar bombs are when people send you cigars as a gift of appreciation. Make a wish (MAW) is someone who lists cigars they are looking for. If I can fill their wish then I do and it becomes my turn to make a wish. Hitch hikers are when you buy cigars and the shipper includes a couple freebies. I'm involved with a couple online communities where this stuff takes place.

  • You sir, are my fucking hero....I would lov to have a collection such as this...I personally am relatively new to cigars and so far have identified a preference for minis....I think this is becuase I like the lighter smoke and they are something you can smoke more regularly without smoking shit sticks (cigarettes, hate them lol)....I have a had some davidoff minis, very nice...Great video my man!!

  • where and did you start?!? i am just staring out myself, and would to know what you would say is the best make or makes for me to start with. also any good sites to get some samples from?

thanks love the collection just hope one day i have one as good lol

  • @ctingle2002 I started with a few samplers, learned what I like, and grew from there. Don't listen to the marketing hype you read on the retail sites, they are there to make you buy. Read reviews on forums and decide what sounds good to you. Join online communities and you will learn a lot. As far as brands, a good starting place is Arturo Fuente, Illusione, Tatuaje, Cabaiguan. Buy samplers and find what you like.

  • @socalocmatt Thank you for such a detailed answer. I had the same question. Great collection!!

  • I love the humidors you have in the beginning.... lol good ol fashion plastic tubs haha

  • @UntamedAdreniline LOL. Yep, they lock in humidity better than any humidor ever will. I just have to open them weekly to circulate the air.

  • @socalocmatt hahaha yup exactly.

  • Really nice selection!

  • i wanna pick one 4 a blunt :D

  • CAN YOU BE MY BEST FRIEND

  • you should regift some of those over to me

  • NIce collection indeed sir. My collection was once good but in it I still had top shelf stuff, 2 boxes of Cuban Monte #2's and one box of cuban Bolivar torpedos. Still my favorite smoke is the Camacho Corojo. But due to no job my humidors are shrinking for some strange reason. I have been saving for a box of Partagas series P #2 but by the time I get the money puroexpress may be sold out again. Curious, what did you think of the Partagas Lusitania's?

  • Oh my god those cohibas are more expensive then my car

  • @TheLemmy111 Not that bad. You can get a box of cuban ones for around $300-$400 depending on the size.

  • @Ben1238 Correction. I did not see the Behike at the end there. Perhaps you are right then.

  • I only reconized the nub and romeo y julieta

  • Impressive collection! Happy Smoking!

  • Hm, goooood

  • I am pretty sure all those cigars and humidors cost more than my car and house...COMBINED!!!

  • Great collection.

I didn't see a humidor? Do you have one, and what model is it?

If you don't have one, why?

  • @essonet I have cooler converted into a humidor for boxes, two 28 bottle wine fridges converted to humidors for temp control, two tupperdors (tupperware) for singles, and nine mason jars that hold about 15 to 20 cigars each. I am working on a design for a couple custom humidors though. All in due time I guess. I have 3 humidors that I don't use. Why not? Because the leak humidity too much. I am working on a design for a couple humidors though. So, I will have a couple make some time this year.

  • @socalocmatt Thank you very much.

The "tupperdors", what kind of hardware have you put in those, if any?

  • @essonet Spanish cedar strips and Boveda humidity packs. Probably the easiest and cheapes thing to setup. Also, the eastiest to maintain. All you need to do is open the lid every week or two as to circulate the air.

  • so money do buy happiness after all!

  • @TheBellocazzo LOL. Yes, yes it does.

  • Why do you need to keep so many on hand? I couldn't smoke all those in a lifetime

  • @killallnazis1955 To age them and to be able to have enjoy them whenever I (or friends) want. When I want a pepper bomb, I can grab a DPG. When I want something real smooth and lighter, Davidoff. Vanilla with some twang, a Cuban. I enjoy the variety of subtle flavors that cigars offer.

  • @killallnazis1955 convenience of choice my good friend

  • Hey man do you ever smoke any of these or do you mostly collect them? It would be a travesty if you only collect them and don't smoke them. You have a fine collection none the less.

  • @damannoa Thanks. Every cigar I have can and will be smoked. Yes, I "collect" them. But I collect them so that I can smoke them as that is their intended purpose. I agree with you, the families, benders, and rollers did not put effort into these to have them sit around and not be enjoyed.

  • Pretty impressive collection. Thanks for sharing

  • you could start your own humidor

  • how old where u when u smoked ur frst cigar

  • @jacob123355 I think I was 24 or 25. I'm 31 now.

  • how the hell did you afford all of them cigars ? haha and you must have some great friends

  • @JBeharrell Yep, you pretty much nailed it. Great friends.

  • If u get stressed at least u can chill ouit lol. How much would u say u have here?

I am just starting my collection!

  • @gayproud1 At the time of the video. Probably around $5K roughly.

  • @socalocmatt Damm that is alot of money lol! I have noticed that the cohiba is very dear to buy. Boliva ones r also dear. Good luck on ur collection but i think u have everyone going lol!

  • jeez you have at least $100 of cigars there, perhaps even more

  • @viper61794 A lot more then that! Some cigars could cost $120 on their own!

He could have thousands of pounds worth here! I collect the BOLIVAR ones because they r nice!

  • @viper61794 thats way more than 100 dollars

  • @viper61794 add another zero there :)

  • @dtk1117 That box of Cohíba BEHIKE's alone is worth almost $400.

  • @viper61794 are you retarded?

  • fantastic collection. i was impressed with your non-cuban cigars. my jaw dropped when you got into the cubans (cohibas). ive read about the behike 50 52 and 54. wow, would you be a hero and sell me one of them behike 52s. figure you live in orange county judging by your name. im from the inland empire(ontario). currently working at choc hospital expansion project. let me know if you can be a hero.

  • i'm incredibly jealous

  • Nice work on your collection. I was a little disappointed you had zero 100 anos by la aurora.

Still very impressive! You threw me off, in the beginning of your video, with all the internet bundle cigars HAHAH

Thought it was extremely funny, wsaer56 commented on the worst cigars in your entire collection! Not even if it was the original decade would anything rocky Patel be good!!

  • @CigarThirty I have a couple of the 100 anos but you're right, I don't see them in the video. Great cigar though.

  • Do you keep track of your cigars? I don't, i tried to keep it in my head! LOL

  • @biankaseba I have a pretty good idea of what I have but I don't really use anything to keep track of them.

  • Do you Smoke them? Those cigars wouldn't last a month in my house! LOL

  • your opus x didn't come with cello?

  • @victory01 Yes, they do come with the cello. I remove the cello on most and keep in on some depending on how I plan to age them.

  • @socalocmatt Cool. I just figured you would want to keep them on since they are loose like that. So you keep them on if you plan on aging them longer? Great collection btw. A bit of everything and lot of the better things.

  • @victory01 Thanks. And yes, I keep the cello on if I either plan on aging or if I get them with a couple years on them and want to slow the aging down. Also, some cigars are great if only a little bit of age and I keep the cello on those. Like Nubs for example. I also use tubos to slow the aging process on older cigars like the Partagas 150.

  • @socalocmatt I personally don't find that the cello affects aging that much, but they do protect the cigars. Then again, maybe I'm just rough with my stogies, hehe.

  • @victory01 I'm rough with mine too... I light them on fire regularly.

  • holy....send some my way...... it makes my collection look childish :)

  • very nice collection!

  • DAMN !!! give some to the broke teenager !!

  • Awesome Collection! I Smoke way more then I could ever keep. Blows me away to see so many PIF, Bombs and MAW's I mean makes me wonder

  • you will smoke all this ?????

  • @twister55563 Yep. Eventually. They were created to be enjoyed and I am more than happy to smoke them.

  • damn my friend, this video made my day :) a beautiful collection indeed, I wouldn't mind smoking anything from you humidor :D Thanks for sharing. Cheers

  • I see you have a couple of Rocky Patel Decades in your collection. Very nice cigars, one of my favs!

  • A very impressive collection!

  • Depending on the time of year and whats going on I average about 1 a week. There are times where I take a break for a couple months or so. If I'm hanging with friends then I can go through 3 or more that day.

For the BBMF, you just toast the foot as is. The tip will cherry up and give a nicely even toasted foot once it opens up.

  • how often do you smoke?

and at 3:38 the bbmf do you light the tip or do you have to cut that off?

  • any way i could buy one of the fuente story boxes from you for my grandfather?

  • @LiuetenantDan93 The ones I have dont have all the packaging and good stuff with them. If you get a new set then there is more packagin, book, and goodies that will make a better gift. They run around $160 for the set but can be had on cigarbid.com for around $120ish. Just look for the Arturo Fuente Story Sampler Box

  • sweet lordd wanna share? ahahhahaha xD this collection is beautiful

  • thats is im going to this guys house!!! lol how much did all of these cigars cost you bud? let me know im getting into cigars myself

  • @gunman5566 LOL. IDK the cost. I would hate to figure it out. I'd probably be crying.

  • @socalocmatt ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! i would too

  • I envy you sir! I'm waiting for my very first cigars to arrive in the mail and watching cigar videos in the mean time to quell my anxiousness/impatience, and your video is by far the most thorough (as in the way you meticulously lay out your cigars for display), thanks for the eye candy. I certainly appreciate the distraction.

  • @ThePackolas

Thanks for the kind words. I hope you enjoy those cigars when they do arrive! Waiting seems to magically slow down time but its well worth it. :)

  • Very nice sticks you have there, you seem to have as many as I do I collect more than ill ever smoke lol

  • @beans316 Thanks. Yea, the slope is never ending.
