To be honest, one main driving point of Linkin Park is change. They 'changed' music with Nu-Metal (twice with HT & Meteora) and then again they changed their direction with M2M. I stuck by them, because their change was still great music and it marked them evolving into an older band.

But now, this new album is terrible. I can accept GOOD change, but with what they put out, it's hard to respect it since it seems like they just gave up and ran out of ideas....It's hard to stay loyal.

I'm not saying I particularly like this album either, but I feel they're still trying to feel out all of the musical elements they can with each album. Even M2M had some incredible depth to some songs, and others made up for lack of depth with their sounds and aggression. ATS just doesn't cut it for me.

An album isn't worth buying just for a few decent tracks out of 15.

Hell, compared to MtM, the latter sounds way better, could say I really liked at least 10 tracks on it - unlike ATS, Wretches And Kings, Waiting For The End, Robot Boy and The Catalyst just seem to be the only tracks that have had put effort into.
