How on earth in a song that contains the greatest voices maybe ever in music, can anyone stick out Warren Wiebe's part?I have an explanation. That's the magic westcoast aor artists reflect. They are this part of music where talent exceeds talent, where melody exceeds melody. They are the part of music that make pop music sound poppier, the most melodic songs sound even more melodic. They are the best among the best.
That's right...the purity of his voice is hypnotic...and he was the visual antithesis of a modern pop singer....but this does jelly after a few chorus's
The purity of his voice and the love he put into anything he sang made him way beyond a good singer, he was great. It is a shame he was not known better for how talented this man was.
i believe he was soooo underrated. a truly wonderful voice . first heard his voice when he sang paint the colour of my love.exquisite!sublime performance !
Yeah ... his voice was special and sadly he's no longer with us. he kinda sounds like Dennis DeYoung and a little like Kenny Loggins and a little like Stevie Wonder at times lol
sadly the first time I had heard of him was from the Anime Gundam X way back in the mid 90s. Only now do i know that he passed away. A pity, a great talent was taken from the world with his dead.
When i was a kid, I remember listening to this song over and over. I had an old cassette tape, and one side was this version. I always wanted to know who was behind this amazing voice, and now I know. RIP
Fly Away: The Songs of David is a fantastic Tribute album to producer extraordinaire David Foster. The album features our beloved Warren wiebe on a beautiful song called "Live Each Day", which written by David Foster & Linda Thompson . Fly Away: The Songs of David Foster also includes tremendous performances courtesy of Chicago's Bill Champlin, Jeff Pescetto, Arnold McCuller, Bill LaBounty, Joe Pizzulo, Bill Cantos and many others. Check it out!
Hey darrelldog5, I got a question for you. Is there a compilation CD of Warren is in the works or not? If not, please tell me so I can do something about it, PLEASE!
As what others comment, i just only discovered warren's fantastic voice when i heard the ending song of gundam x,,im a fanatic of gundam x since i was in grade 4,,i really appreciated the voice of warren,,it creates great emotion when i heard the song of him,,especially the voice thats care and human touch,,i never knew that he passed away but then again thank god that youtube preserve this song,,thanks guys,,,ctoy17
I actually heard of him through his Gundam X anime song and went looking for more info. Spectacular voice and this song itself is amazing, I hadn't realized his contribution to music.
I still get a bit choked up when I hear anything that Warren sang. I played with him here in San Diego a couple of times, and whenever he was on a gig, we knew it was gonna be special. He was a singer's "sanger". RIP my long lost soul brother Warren Wiebe.
Hey, this song is special to me. When I was four-years old, my dad went to Saudi in O.D.S. My family and I played this song every night until he came back home. To hear the actual demo by Warren Wiebe, WONDERFUL! He has such a beautiful voice. He will be missed. God bless Warren Wiebe! Thanks for uploading!
Hi there- thanks so much for sharing this vid. I'm a big warren wiebe fan. Too bad he passed away before he could make his own album. He was the singer's singer. Very under rated guy that should've been there at the top.
BTW- do you have any mp3 of these songs that you could share? would gladly and greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!
This song was always special to me because my brother was in the gulf war (He was later killed in Somalia in 1993). When I saw Warren sing at the end of the "Voices That Care" video I was thinking, "who IS that guy?!" His amazing voice was a perfect and moving end to a great song.
Thanks for the comment! I put another video response you should check out! its warren singing a few cover songs. He was amazing!!! He was so talented, yet very few knew of him!
Sorry about your brother, it's guys like him that make this world a better place, and yes, this guy's voice is beautiful, kinda sounds like Stevie Wonder!
When I first heard his voice on the Voices That Care video way back in 91, I was so moved by the way he sang this song, I could not get enough - the video was truly amazing and so relevant even now. We must remember why our brave men and women are fighting in this war. It's to keep our country safe from those who wish to destroy the very fabric of our society and freedoms we enjoy and take for granted.
As a veteran of the '90-'91 gulf war and knowing this song was written for us troops i obviously fell in love with it. but my favorite part of it was warrens part at the very end because it was so fitting and summed up for me how much we meant to people. thank you warren
The most beautiful voice I`ve ever heard. He inspired me in the darkest time to carry on singing and to record my first soloalbum.(may-08).Reminded me what singing is all about. The best singers and musicians are seldom or never heard.Warrens voice will be within me allways...Stig

Back in 1990 i bought the single Voices That Care and wondered who was that amazing voice at the end of the song?
I found out shortly after, it was the great Warren Wiebe.
I tried looking for an LP of his music, but (sadly) there was none.
I just found out tonight about his sad departure, & I have a feeling he was depressed about his career not being what it SHOULD'VE BEEN!
A solo LP of his would've been great.
I know it would have been a hit.
R.I.P. Warren, God Bless You
