  • That fan is a beast! haha that was great!

  • maybe you could build a few more and use your current fan for all or them.

  • do you have your box hooked up to a thermostat

  • God almighty what a fan. Think i got the same fan on my ng furnace. GREAT job though, thanks for posting.

  • F the neighbors if they dont like it tell them they can pay your heating bill

    P.S. nice fernace

  • LOL! I really liked seeing the pirated copy of "Walking Tall" right behind the thermometer.

  • Holy Mother of God! That fan is the Tim Taylor 'Binford' version of air movement. Wonder how much it would cost you to run that compared to an electric heater? Ouch.

Have you ever looked into a solar powered roof vent fan? They move alot of air and are fairly inexpensive. Best part, it would run when you have sun (making heat) and stop when there's no sun. I think they sell for less than $90 too. Nice video

  • Unless your neighbors are willing to pay your heating bills don't give it a 2nd thought. I'm working on this myself. As a home owner when a job does not keep up with the cost of living and our gas and electric company keeps raising rates its time to find a better way. Just think I'm guessing you have a 108 can setup, imagine more just like it? I'm hoping with this and my hho heater project this will make a dent in our winter heating bills.

    Nice job!

  • nice black market dvd (walking tall)

    good movie.

  • Well all of your hard earned money spent saving on your heating heating and cooling bills will be spent paying for movie piracy. LOL walking tall.

Nice job though. Watch that blanket, that would make one hell of a wake up call if that catches while sleeping.

  • After receiving a $600.00 utility bill for january, 09 I will build a fleet of these this summer. Mine looks alot like yours, if you got sun you got heat. I think they could use a heat sink of some kind though. Maybe a large chunk of flat steel heated by a fresnal mirror. Great work.

  • this is cool keep up the good work!

Those neighbors will want one some day when they can't pay their power bill no more

  • I used 4mm perspex & it warped under the heat I will upgrade to 6mm when i get time. My Sun level is extremely low at this time of year, its just barely skimming the trees. Temps outside are -1 to -3 & I'm getting temps of 45 celsius fro a couple of hours. every house will have one of these soon..lol

  • amazing fan..lol

    & a cppy of walking tall..he he

    Lovely Temps

  • Thanks, your video and craftsmanship is on way higher level. Do you use glass to cover yours, I am using Plexiglas and it doesnt like the heat a lot. I got a ways to go to refine mine so that it looks better, but it does work Im on the east coast and I get about 4 hours of heat on a sunny day.

  • @lock4445 did you realize you have a roach next to your walking tall dvd? light dat suka up :P
