  • I am so proud that next year I may be apart of that...

  • @starwarshalo123 whats your name i might know you already in centerville currently

  • @MrSabian123 probably not, I am going to be a freshman next year so I don't know a lot of people from the high school

  • this has to be one of centerville's greatest shows!

  • I love Centreville Jazz so much... even though their shows make me realize why we could never make it at Grand Nats.

-James Madison Pride of Vienna Band

  • You can totally tell it's Chase talking. Lol

  • I love this music. BCHS is totally playing it for our show <3

  • haha remember joe eck? haha "you guys have to remember that rhythm! just think 'we are the centerville jazz, we are the centerville jazz, centerville jazz is the best and we are them, them, them, them, them, them, them, THEM!!!'" at the end haha good times that year.

  • Damn 1:31 through 1:42 is like watching Phantom Regiment's pit.

  • im in the bc band too

  • @bcbandie4ever hey who r u cuz i am in the byron band to lol

  • @Wellness190 bcbandie4ever is Chase, I believe. I'm in byron as well xD

  • @RockinWarriorCats lol. you caught me!

  • @bcbandie4ever Haha. It wasn't that hard~

  • Can't wait to do this show next year!

  • @bcbandie4ever it will be awesome!!!

  • So many people! I'm not used to that many. You guys are great!

  • Holy crap your percussion is amzing now if only we could steal you guys for one day lols

  • This is awsome! I can't wait till we go to grandnationals this year although I'm a reserved and I have to be by the Pit who cares! Every Which Way will rock this year!

  • I wish my high schools band could pull of something as amazing as this...I love the shows CHS does :] I bet y'alls practices are intense haha.

  • Is the one song around 3:40 called candide? I'm curious, it sounds similar to a song my school's concert ensemble did this past year.

  • @doodlebugxo2 it doensnt sound like candide, it might have the same chords at the beggining. Are you from LHS?

  • This was my favorite show to be in...I PWN XYLO GLOCK FTW!

  • I don't care if Bill Burns is on your faculty. I still hate that this group calls itself a "jazz band."

That being said, this was a cool show.

  • @akira1099 For your information we are called the Centerville Jazz Band is because we play jazz music =/

  • @HurdedurTV You play marching band music that tributes jazz - There's a difference. You'll travel long and far before you ever find a history book that talks about jazz in marching bands outside of (maybe) New Orleans.

I like your (actual) jazz band though. Your lead alto player from this past year was pretty sick.

  • i want the elvis show on youtube. wheres that boa vid?

  • lol american

  • I love this show.. i think its better than 2009.. Cant bevlieve there score and placing at BOA.. Love the sax solos at the beginning1!!

  • You need to watch more DCI shows.

  • No, more is definitely not what I need. I've seen enough of it to prefer BOA.

Oooohh, -5 for having an opinion. :B

  • Well you can have your opinion, but you got to say it correctly. "You LIKE BOA better than DCI" rather than "BOA is better than DCI"... because technically, musically, and execution-wise, DCI trumps BOA everytime. Fact, not opinion. If it were personal preference because of other reasons (your kid is in the band, the fact that they are high schoolers, etc.) then fine, but don't go thinking you are getting negative responses just for the sake of having a dissenting opinion.

  • You're right that I worded the phrase incorrectly, but please do note that I do not prefer BOA for any irrelevant reason.

  • Those reasons may not be irrelevant, it's just that some people misunderstood what you said. If you would like to flesh it out a bit, that would be much clearer :)

  • I liked this show ALOT more than this past season. This shows music was awesome! I like how you can incorporate jazz into every single one of your shows.

  • i definitely think that they are better this year but i can't say anything bad because they are awesome but i kinda have to say that because my sister is in the colorguard

  • Did one of your indoor drumlines use those plant props for their indoor show this pass season?

  • @typo29 Yes, the Centerville A-Line used these props following Wild Things in their show titled "Jungle Love." Might as well put them to good use :P

  • Fucking beast! i think i just jizzed in my pants at how amazing you guys are...

    - Charles W Flanagan High school

  • They're even better this year imo

  • No we aren't. Wild Things could kick Icon's ass from now till 2012, this year blew.

  • I agree with this soooo much.

My band doesn't even do BOA, but Wild Things had the best music ever!

  • no thats not true. I live in centerville and my sis goes to centerville high school and i know most of the people

  • i was told that centerville has two diffrent marching band a jazz and ......jus a regular one i guess. but anyway. i just wanted to see if thats true. and oh by the way, i love this show! its has to be my favorite ever performed by a high school band. cant wait to see you guys this year!

  • No, the Centerville Jazz Band is the marching band. There's only one. We do have Jazz Ensembles but they are completely different.

  • I don't think so. Our band goes to a lot of the same competitions as them and I've never seen/heard of them having two

  • @Limabean231 Yes, they used to have two winter drumlines competing in the A class and World class for MEPA and WGI. However, effective the 2009 winter season, Centerville only has one winter drumline-The Centerville World Line.

  • @dizzybanddd - Yeah, I know. I saw both drumlines in 08. I was just responding to comomello's question of whether there are two marching bands (not drumlines).

  • is this chris buck's band? Sweet! oh, wait, bergers in it. It must suck.

  • LOL, nice one. I never knew Brian Berger, but I do know Erin, and she does get a little annoying every now and then.

  • Sweet im in the centervile jazz band this year its ton of work but soooo worth it i love it

  • cant wait to see centerville at boa this year. ryle high shool, my band is perfroming at centerville this year. lol

  • I miss this.

    Soooo friggin much...its unbelievable

  • This was a really cool and great band.

I decided to watch this i guess because my band is doing this song but wit some revisions and editing from our band directors. Yall most likely play it better than we will but who knows

  • wait a minute somebody bought the show music?

  • yea our percussion director modified the percusion part of the show and some low brass part though

  • Barrometti sold our music...wow, when he says the band needs cash, he does whatever it takes...friggin vulture

  • You know what's cool, it seems that you guys have really similar shows to The Bluecoats! Good stuff!

  • Best Show ive seen from Centerville in a long time!! One of the best shows at Indy this year!!! Congrats on Nats Success

  • hey that a little bit of home right there, anybody know what school that awsome t-bone player went too?

  • I think you're talking about Kiski.

  • I might be, you know her?

  • we did not make finals, 13th on semi.

  • Dayum! I really enjoyed this show. I've seen the documentary on this band countless of times and i thought that year yall should've made finals, but this year, yall should've gotten top 5. at least.

This show gave me chills which rarely ever happens.

    Awesum show, guys! Bravo!

  • Show me your MOVES!

  • COME ON!

  • FALCON PUNCH!

  • what place was this band at GN?

  • I think it was 9th place in finals. Really quite an entertaining show.

On a sidenote, this band must be loaded or has great connections, because every time I see them, they always have new percussion equipment, battery and frontline.

  • We have both. We know a LOT of band directors and music companies, and we have more cash then Sasquatch has hairs. Unfortunately that money comes at a price, we must give up every ounce of freedeom we have and do fundraisers from dawn till dusk.

  • Im from Beavercreek and I think this show was amazing, I might possibly be marching at Centerville next year. =]

  • this was an awesome show

  • Awesome show, guys! One of my favorites of the season for sure.

  • *sigh* I'm gonna miss this show. Even the darned half day practices on Saturdays. It was a fun show. Hang on, wasn't prelims when the mikes conked out during movement four and Spaeth's (alto soloist) horn broke. Because if it is, then why am I hearing Spaeth and

Ward duet in movement 4? Aw well. It was a great show. Can't wait to see what Markworth has next year.

  • The horn got hit by a flag during semi's, not prelims. I would know.

  • true that speath

  • huh, I guess your right. Good thing we had Baker their to perform a miracle.

  • lol !!

  • Probably my third favorite show of '08, behind Broken Arrow and Avon.

  • This still gives me chills. I would really love to perform this show again!

  • Wow their pit is incredible!

  • thank you!

  • I miss performing this show. ♥

  • this band is so classy!

they have a great program and i am in love with this show.

    mmmmmmmmmmmm.

    chillsss.

  • This was one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen, both visually and musically. I'm the Tbone section leader for the Western Carolina University "Pride of the Mountains" marching band but I'd have to say you low brass guys gave my guys a run for their money. The ending rocked my socks the most though. Great Job!

  • Wow! Thanks! You guys were awesome also!

  • Those are the most amazing gauntlets I have ever seen.

  • wow great job Centerville!

  • Very impressive show. It was my favorite show to watch at the Mason Invitational.

  • This show was a great way to end. =} ♥

  • In in ryle, I saw this show about 5 times throughout the year, I accually played at centerville for BOA regionals

  • this has to be one of the best c-ville shows that we have ever put out, EVER. just watching this made me smile and made chills go down my spine.

  • 3 words... tower of power

  • the reason why i say wild things is the best is b/c i actually got to be in it.

  • yea im in my high school band and we playin this show music this yea for our show its the same music but the drill ofcourse isnt

  • this makes me cry, and shiver almost every time i watch it. i lovee this show.
